So what did you think of Katie Couric on Leno?

I kind of liked the show. Leno had been getting a bit boring.
A woman on late-night has some definite possibilities, just not sure if she is the one.

the main reason I don't watch TV, is that I am bored with women dominating the screen..... God forbid, women with careers. How dare they!!!

The point that I wanted to get across was....Just as women rejected males dominating TV, I find that TV is becoming exclusively female and as such, it has rejected the male prospective.
I have no problem with women having a career, but, I sense in your reply, that you have extrapolated my comments to fit your interpetion of my intentness.

Did not watch her last night.
Can't stand her.
People were just curious.
Watching paint dry would be more entertaining.

Calling Leno boring calls into question the quality of your sense of humor. Leno is head and shoulders above the rest. Conan is the only other on late night that is near his level (and has a completely different style). The also-rans: Letterman, Kimmel, and Kilborne are well...I could demean their comedic skills, but where would we get with that?
To: jagrmeister
BTW, if you thought Couric was a good substitue, you have no appreciation for comedic timing and delivery.

My previous post: "I don't watch either."
Now EXACTLY where in those four words do you get that I think Leno is boring? Actually, I watch very little TV and no late night television.

Sorry...I meant to reply to the first post not yours.

Yes I unfortunately had to endure that blathering bimbo until I fell asleep... I don't get cable and NBC is the least fuzzy channel...
Awkward, nervous and prissy. I can't stand the empty-headed twit in the first place-- grunging the pain of the "great unwashed" just to get a story, and cutting on the Bush administration is not gonna endear anybody to me. Durn glad to get Jay back. I agree with the poster above who said her kids' jokes were the only decent ones she told.
I remember sometime last year she was interviewing a kid who tried unsuccessfully to save his buddy from drowning in an ice-skating accident or something like that... The kid was sitting there, obviously getting more distressed by the minute and Colic kept asking him stuff in that brassy tone she gets-- "so what was it like seeing your friend go under the ice for the last time? How do you feel, knowing you FAILED to save your friend's life? Huh? Huh?" Jesus. Some people just NEED b!tch-slapping.
