Oh wonderful. Here we go again. My guess is that these folks are getting ready to do to the Great Lakes region, what they did for so much of the Western US. By the time there finished you wont be able to get within twenty miles of a body of water with anything even remotely resembling a recreational watercraft. That is if your allowed to get within twenty miles of a body of water period!

I'm thinking they'll have other priorities once glaciers start to form as the Ice Age starts.

But is anybody
against a sustainable Great Lakes?
It is so sad that this issue has been thoroughly highjacked by the neo-coms.

Sustainability from concept to application Great Lakes restoration planning Those are such scary word Sustainable reminds me of the United Nations Agenda 21 for Sustainable Environment (animals win people lose).
Restoration that word makes me shudder They are restoring the Everglades (animals win people lose) While hundreds of people in the 8.5 square mile of Dade county are flooded from their homes.

You are correct. This is about the gentrification of the lakefront and government ownership of the Lakes.
To: TonyWojo
I think that you can safely bet that most of this "Restoration" will involve the liberal use of eminent domain and draconian, unlegislated regulation. For our own good of course.
