Am I the first to say it, "O'Reilly has peaked, and it's all downhill from here"?

No. But everybody who's said it before has been wrong.

You're watching his show, which is all he cares about.

Like him or hate him, if you watch his show, he's going to remain on top.

This is how Rush got big. Remember his "caller abortions"? They absolutely outraged people, but they listened to him.

Our friend faithincowboys has watched every Factor since this thing broke and maybe the re-runs.

"Just spell my name right" is the admonition of every successful radio or television personality.

Ok here is the Hubcap Story.

PARAPHRASED

A few weeks ago, Bill made a comment about a Fundraising event that he was attending and I think Chairing.

He was at the Microphone, and an entertainment group was cheduled to perform.

He announced the group to come on, but they didn't. he announced them again, and they didn't, and he made a snide remark about how:

"He hopes they are not out in the parking lot stealing all your hubcaps".

People apparently laughed, however, some took it as a racist slant.

So, Boortz tried to make a link from that incident being the reason that Bill is so livid for the prom thing. trying to make amends.

And now you know the rest of the story.

Regards,
Joe

1 - the "My Spin Zone" will never, ever have someone as sharp as Boortz invited again...he literally cleaned O's clock, and Bill obviously knew it was happening.

As I remember, one of the last guests Phil Donahue had on his ill-fated MSNBC resurrection was......drum roll....the envelop please........Neal Boortz.

Maybe Bill needs to start checking his ratings again. lol.

Yes,Bill will have some people on who have Post Traumatic
Slavery Disorder, but only from that Georgia High School,
and only the ones that went to the integrated Prom.

Thank you for that information. I now revise my comments. He made a racial slur toward Blacks... Not Mexicans. And I stand by my theory: He's trying to fashion himself into the racial police. Sorry Bill, too late!

Having watched the exchange myself, I can say that Neil did not kick O'Reilly's a**. As the host, O'Reilly routinely spoke over Neil and the debate pretty much went nowhere. Neil made a few good points and O'Reilly basically repeated himself. Neil needed to extend his point by saying that because it was a private party, the school and certainly the governor are not responsible. If we want to have the discussion of the wisdom and appropriateness of the kids setting up a whites-only party, then by all means, let's discuss that. But this isn't a question of legality. Neil never made that point, probably because O'Reilly failed to acknowledge Neil's first observation that the party was not a school function.

Yeah, that's right O'Reilly was just cracking wise and it came back to bite him.....it probably really was a funny momment.....

.....help me remember, what did O'Reilly say about Trent Lott's Strom Thurmond comments?

Yes, because that is the whole basis of O'reilly's argument--when he admits it was a private party, his argument are washed out. So he can't admit that the "prom" was a private party.

Dennis is great! They have his show on now 24/7 on KRLA's site so you can listen whenever you like. I encourage everyone who has not heard Dennis to give him a try!

KRLA - Dennis Prager

My problem is there are not enough hours in a day to listen to all these great shows! I have to rotate them around.

It is a private function. This fact continues to be overlooked in this matter.

And, is there really anything wrong with voluntary racial separation or simply put, "freedom of association"? Would you prefer a governmentally enforced coercive integration?

Visit any high-school cafeteria and you will see voluntary segregation in action, not only on the basis of race, but also along cultural and subcultural lines. The jocks, the nerds, the list goes on.

People like to be with those with whom they share common customs and interests, and, like it or not, even today customs and interests often break along racial lines.

The point is simply that individuals should have the choice to associate with whomever they want. And allowing people to associate freely as they please is being truly tolerant.

Thanks for the full story, I thought it was a Hispanic group, but the sterotype angle works equally bad for both groups....
