Don't believe it until it's been notarized and blessed by a priest. I've gotten my hopes up so many times only to have them dashed I don't know if I'll believe it even if it's true.

I don't think hopes have been dashed, it's more there's been no final pronouncement (yet) on any of the dozens of instances where they've found extremely suspicious stuff. These stories appear for about twenty four hours and then ... nothing. No confirmation
and no denial that these are chem/bio/nuclear weapons and facilities.
Let's be clear, Saddam Hussein did have WMD's and they were not all destroyed. This stuff will be (I think has been) found and the final collected list will blow most people away. You can call it faith, but that's what I believe.
As far as the persistent but unverified reports are concerned, and not to be crude, but the closest analogy that comes to mind involves the color blue and a pair of small spherical objects. It may be a painful process to go through, but personally I expect to be very satisfied when it is finally over.

I would like to think that the administration is stacking up all the evidence so after the naysayers have all had their little hissy fit imitations of Yosemite Sam, the Pres will come out and laugh at the lot of them.

On NO! I won't believe it til Hillary says it is WMD and swears allegiance to Dubya.

That's the way I read it, but we'll have to wait and see. It just seems like Dubya has been doing this same thing to his opponents time after time and they just continue to fall for it. I suppose the time to change tactics will be when this strategy no longer works.
"Coach, how may times are you going to run that play?"
"We'll run it till they figure out how to stop it".

Maybe I'm a retard Never, ever, say such a thing about yourself on this site. Mark my words, there will be legions who will take this comment and work their fingers to the bone to make this statement a de facto self-fulfilling prophecy.
You might as well just change your screen name right now.
P.S. the comment related to the blue dress and the stains thereupon.

I'm sure you're not a retard but maybe as a teenager you were lucky enough to have never been "stimulated" for a number of hours without achieving the "objective". When I was younger virginity was more common place than now and our girlfriends put a lot of us into a condition called "blue balls".
My point was that weeks of hearing about all these "discoveries" without final confirmation and at the same time listening to the left crying "see, see, no WMD's!" has left many of us very frustrated.

Don't worry -- my saying "maybe I'm a retard" is akin to my saying "maybe my eyes are made out of industrial carpeting." I'm so utterly confident that it's false that there's no risk in saying it.
