The French government secretly supplied fleeing Iraqi officials with passports in Syria that allowed them to escape to Europe, The Washington Times has learned.

An unknown number of Iraqis who worked for Saddam Hussein's government were given passports by French officials in Syria, U.S. intelligence officials said.

I'm glad you are seeing this bit with France.

Islamofascists would be nothing without their Western enablers.

They are both up to their necks in bad behavior before, during and after the war.

This is the tip of the iceberg.

However, you are right! When a friend or even a former friend stabs you in the back it hurts worse as it is treachery.

Thanks for the review of the old and good English terms.

Sometimes I wish France would just start harboring Terrorists...that would make it easier for our guys to go in and get rid of the idiots.

You have been warning us about Venezula for sometime. Brazil would be a good option. I have to wonder about Cuba via flights from Europe to Canada and then to Havana.

There is definitely no extradiction from Cuba.

Norms revenge agrees with you.

Any of these people who were headed to France are probably in some grave with worms and maggots enjoying them.

The last thing ChIraq would want would be them to roll over.

I think that a lot went out with the Russians to Syria or maybe to Russia. When the Russian Embassy car pool was attacked on its way to Syria, it was obvious that we knew something was up.

Here is something that ties to this:

Washington Targets Chirac and ElBaradai (Iraqi documents)(DEBKA)

I know it is Debka, but read it anyway!

Absolutely, without France, Germany, Russia and the ChiComs the Islamofacists would still be driving a camel with rifles and swords. For decades they have been getting military material and training from France/Germany and Russia.

If one quarter of this is correct, I'm not surprised.

I think that James Woolsey had a lot of data on these countries and their interactions with Saddam, Iran, Syria and al Qaeda. He was ignored by the Clintons to keep the blood money flowing to them and their UN buddies.

We apparently have a lot of data and some it magically fell into the hands of the reporter of the Telegraph to nail Galloway and to scare the $hit out of the rest of them.

Putin gets up with that KGB killer grin and tries to bully Tony Blair that there were no WMDs since Russia and France had gotten rid of a lot of them. Tony knew about some of this stuff, and he laughed in Putin's stone killer face.

Plus we had about 10,000 spec ops in Iraq and in key cities like Baghdad for months. They have been collecting data as the Aussie SAS has and so has the Brit SAS.

Woolsey had sketched out the relationships, and now we are getting the data together to bring about massive regime changes in these other Axis of Evil countries.

You do not play poker with GW nor do you try to bluff him or bully him. Chiraq and Putrid will find out the hard way as this unwinds.

France has been harboring Islamofacist terrorists since the 1970's. The bad mullahs kicked out by the Shah from Iran went to Paris, made friends and got financing to overthrow the Shah.

Oh my, it appears France wants to be on the evil doers list. You are either for us, or you are against us. I think we know where France is.

The French passports allow the wanted Iraqis to move freely among 12 EU countries...

Kind of like the Letters of Transit that Ugarte stole in Casablanca. Vichy lives.

Tomorrow, I will try to find GW's speech last week on the Abraham Lincoln.

I think he was preparing us for the second shoe to fall on France and probably Russia re harboring and abetting terrorists. He redefined his original definition on that.

As far as I'm concerned France is as dangerous as the Saddam Regime in Iraq that they helped for so long.

By no means was I impuning Mr. Gertz's reliability. I have no doubt that he was accurately reporting the information he obtained, and that he regards that information as credible. I qualified my statement because an extraordinary claim requires extraordinary proof, and even skilled and honest journalists can be deceived or make mistakes. If this story is corroborated, or even not refuted, it is the hottest of hot potatoes.

To put it another way, I'll give even the French a fair trial before I hang them.
