WASHINGTON - When they first came up with the idea of putting the list of the 55 most-wanted Iraqi regime figures on a deck of playing cards, a group of obscure analysts for the Defense Intelligence Agency had no idea they were creating a media sensation.

I wish they the Pentagon would offer these cards to the public and use the money for the families of the men and woman who gave their lives in this war.

I found an added benefit. It helps to keep track of who they are and what "rank" they are on our most wanted list.

After 9.11 and our move into Afghanistan we saw press releases of FBI suspects and wanted terrorists (sometimes 22 would be announced at once).

You'd hear a name but it wouldn't necessarily mean anything to you. With this, people are printing them out and X-ing the captured (or dead) cronies. Someone even has a website showing who's still at large and who is presumed dead. I think he even added some extras to the deck (some terrorists who had safe harbor in Iraq).

Here at home it doesn't offer any method for us to help capture the bad guys at large but it does give us some signs that people are still being caught (and that the war is not "finished" because we still want to get some people).

The people who hunted Nazi war criminals had too many names to make just one deck (although there were some big fish that they wanted and did eventually catch).

It would be nice to have a deck of MOST WANTED TERRORISTS. I'd be willing to keep them in my glove compartment or even my purse.

This should grow to FBI, CIA, IRS, Immigration, DEA, Sex Offenders, Democrat party members, Judges and maybe Children Missing by state and local community. This would change everything. If would even be a cool idea to have it like baseball cards.
