You know that Bush has got the Left riled when they have to spit nails at every little thing that he does.
'Tis a thing of beauty!

wow,not a good word for the crew of the ship, the president or anybody.
what the "AP" stands for anti-president?
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Actually, what they do is soothe the liberals and stiffen the resolve of the conservatives. Let them have their moment to spout - come election day ... well, we'll see what their response is!!

This kind of coy bashing garbage from this biased rag probably started
this.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
But, but I thought the OC Register was a conservative biased paper!
That's the AP for you, this was as cynical and calculatedly slanted as anything in the New York Times.
What I love about this, is that I honestly think this shows how the press really doesn't GET Bush. This was a wonderful moment for American history. Bring up the campaign AP, bring this up during your synopsis of the campaigns before the election.
I dare you.

oh, brother... relax.
It was a photo-op, pure and simple. I know it, you know it, they know it. Big F-in' Deal!
That doesn't mean it wasn't a kick ass ballsy (and, frankly, ill-advised) move...

Don't let it get to you. Contrast that event with Gephardt's silly dance at some rubber chicken event recently. No comparison!
Was W grandstanding? Of course he was, but America LOVED every minute of it. This is Teddy Roosevelt stuff. I hope the Pubs replay that footage every day on TV during the next campaign. The rat media looks like a bunch of thumbsuckers when they try to poke holes in events like these, and only the most infantile socialist bas****S agree with them.

President Bush flys a jet and then it makes a tail hook landing. I can here x42 saying over and over "Why didn't I think of that? Then again he (clinton) would only be capable of chasing tail , while opening his fly.

Don't sweat it too hard, Earnest! You
know the Dimocrats are only jealous because they could NEVER come up with a CIC as
authentic as this one is. W is
clearly the most beloved CIC this nation has had since Reagan! CLEARLY. (Ok, so that's only the "most beloved outta three," but you've gotta start somewhere, right? :) )

All I can think of re. this whole story, is Bill Clinton,
in an envious rage, watching the TV coverage of Bush landing, and bursting a blood vessel in his
bulbous nose...

Thanks for the soothing words!
I do think I am going to give the Register my two cents for publishing this kind of crap!
To: fly_so_free
I happened to catch a few minutes of Rush the other day and he did a very clever bit, in the x42 voice that he does so well ...... it went something like this (though longer) ....
"During the war in Kosovo, I was 5 minutes away from landing on an aircraft carrier but the Secret Service stopped me. They said I was just too important to take such a risk. I thought about it and realized that they were right ..... I'm just too important as the leader of the free world ..... blah ... blah ... blah"
Rush pulled it off extremely well ..... you could truly imagine x42 actually trying it out in a speech one day. If he ever does, the media will probably make it the headline story of the day. GAG!
