TO ALL ardent FOSSIL THUMPERS:

PUBLIC B.S. "gets it" - Intelligently Designed Films

Why can't you?

Answer:

The evolutionist strawman, indoctrinated with circular reasoning, fed with half-truths, conditioned to side-step, unbearably burdened with proof, extrapolated circumstantial evidence into a spontaneously generated smokescreen and follow one of their own red herrings right off the bluff into the bandwagon. Momentarily dazed and not to be deterred; strawman finally comes to his senses and commences an ad hominem, argumentum ad populum, loaded with ridicule, non-sequiturs, attempted humor and glittering generalities - repeatedly citing Big Lie authorities, to intimidate anyone disagreeing with the Best-in-Field Fallacy, of 'particles to people' EVOLUTION.

A Theory of Biblical Creation

Media Bias Stifles Creationists' Scientific Findings, Perspective He explains that the secular media -- which he describes as atheistic and anti-Christian -- publishes most anything it can that appears to indoctrinate people and "hits against the Bible."

CREATION : EVOLUTIONARY ARROGANCE (SHAMAN ALERT) One writer laments that even after the pope reaffirmed the commitment of the Catholic Church to evolution in 1996,

40 percent of American Catholics in a 2001 Gallup poll said they believed that God created human life in the past 10,000 years. Indeed, fully 45 percent of all Americans subscribe to this creationist view.12

But why would the public favor creation? Only a statistical minority of the "general public" attends church and Sunday school. Could it possibly be that evolution is so contrary to evidence and common sense that people intuitively know that evolution is wrong? And could it be that many of these have studied the evidences for themselves and thereby found that evolution is not really scientific after all?

Loosening Darwin's GripA poll released in May 2002 by Zogby International found that nearly eight out of every 10 Ohioans supported the teaching of intelligent design in classrooms where Darwinian evolution also is taught. A survey by The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland offered similar findings: 74 percent of Ohioans said evidence for and against evolution should be taught in science classrooms, while 59 percent said intelligent design should be included in origins study.

How Does the World View of the Scientist & the Clinician Influence Their Work? Some, like Thomas Kuhn in his widely quoted "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions," have argued that the scientific process is less than an objective critical empirical investigation of the facts. They claim the work of scientists is greatly influenced by their culture, by social and psychological environment, by what Kuhn calls the "paradigm"--that is to say, the preferred or prevailing theories, methods and studies of that particular discipline, and above all by their world view--their specific beliefs about "the order of nature." Kuhn writes that two scientists with different views of the "order of nature" . . . see different things when they look from the same point in the same direction . . . they see different things and they see them in different relations to each other." And we might add that they tend to see and to accept those data that conform to or make sense in light of their world view. So evidence exists that the world view of scientists and the presuppositions that view implies may influence not only the problems scientists choose to investigate but also what they actually observe and fail to observe.

Terrific...But even when the theory of "natural selection" is finally and thoroughly discredited, there will still be the "selective demise" theory, aka Darwin Awards. Let the evolutionists cling to that small comfort.

I recently saw the video, it was very good. Not for kids, because it is too technical. Evolutionists argue that amino acids randomly combined to form proteins and then cells. As I understand it from the film, cells require the information provided by DNA to convert amino acids into proteins. Thus the information HAD to exist first, which makes the evolutionary theory impossible.

I did e-mail a request and here's the response I received,

"Thank you for your interest in KVIE Channel 6 and our programming. At this time KVIE Channel 6 does not have Unlocking the Mystery of Life scheduled. I will be glad to add this program to our list of requested programming. Again, thank you for your interest in KVIE Channel 6."

Sounds positive. I suspect that they don't get a lot of specific requests for programs which PBS has offered.

scored to original music by Mark Lewis

If you can't convice with facts, get some musicians... BARF.

To go to the Galapagos and argue against evolution... shows just how ignorant these I.D.orks are.

God cares so much about the finches that he's going to make them into different species, just so they can have the privilege of eating different foods (and filling different evolutionary niches)? I doubt it. Evolution is reality, get used to it.

Many public school teachers are using the material in science classrooms without fear of controversies over creationism or religion in the science classroom, because the material is scientific, not religious, in all its arguments and evidences, and presents reputable scientists who are well qualified in their fields: Dean Kenyon, Michael Behe, Jonathan Wells, Steven Meyer, William Dembski, Scott Minnich, Jed Macosko, and Paul Nelson, with a couple of brief appearances by Phillip E. Johnson, the "founder" of the Intelligent Design movement.

But but but... The FR evo thugs tell us there is no scientific evidence for anything but flat-foreheaded darwinism!

I love what Dr. Colin Patterson, Senior Palaentologist for the British Museum of Natural History in London, said after it suddenly dawned on him that he knew no one sure thing in support of evolution: it is "a void that has the function of knowledge but conveys none." (Thompson, Bert, Ph.D., The Scientific Case for Creation, Montgomery: Apologetics Press, 1986, p.13)

Well ... just remember this story:

A Baptist preacher was having lunch with his long time friend, a Biologist. The Biologist was so excited because he was telling his friend that after 25 years he had discovered there were just 5 main elements which made up the universe - they were:

time
force
motion
space
matter

The Baptist preacher chuckled to himself and began to tell his friend; if you had just read the first sentence of the Bible, you could have saved yourself 25 years.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning (time), GOD (force), created (motion), the heavens (space), and the earth (matter).

Maybe its mankinds demand for an absolute answer that is the real dilemma here.

If you view this planets history..then slot Homo Sapien; one quickly see's we are just a mere mark on the pie chart...toward the end..as the Sun will eventually swell and encompass this planet in its violent convulsionary cycling.

To some degree...Darwin is a revelation in the journey of learning..he got some things right..some things wrong.

Just recently they learned that the components of our DNA are succeptable to mutations via the myriad of energies which emminate from this Earth..and are hurled upon it from Space.

So...we Homanids should have mutated away into oblivion..but behold!..a mechanism is discovered that travels along the DNA helix Re Writting it constantly.....like a computer program.

Technically.....were doomed unless intelligence Zeniths our current pattern of social behaviour ,pitted against a planet with a limited resource base.

We will be lucky to survive this transtional period with our weapons technology and mental hangups....man has a great motivator before him,and a challenge.....Space.

Failure to embrace this reality might lead to our extinction.

However it went...Neandertal could not adapt to his competiton and went bye bye.

We will go bye bye too if we do not adapt.

Is there a way to start combining these "long thread" arguments?

Perhaps someone could come up with a good start by initiating a thread titled, "Why evolution was the cause of the civil war."

THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU again. I ordered this video because of your thread. I was not aware of it. I'll have to wait 4-8 weeks for delivery because it is in high demand but it is worth it.

I find evolution to be humoerous beyond words. This will be VERY refreshing to see something that is objetive science giving God the credit due to Him.

Also if you have a ping list, please add my name to it.
