Well ... just remember this story:

A Baptist preacher was having lunch with his long time friend, a Biologist. The Biologist was so excited because he was telling his friend that after 25 years he had discovered there were just 5 main elements which made up the universe - they were:

time
force
motion
space
matter

The Baptist preacher chuckled to himself and began to tell his friend; if you had just read the first sentence of the Bible, you could have saved yourself 25 years.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning (time), GOD (force), created (motion), the heavens (space), and the earth (matter).

Well ... just remember this story:

Do I have to? It makes my smarminess detector cringe.

It has a biologist(?) misstating physics just so the Believer can smugly twist Genesis 1:1 all out of shape to pretend to match, all as a cheap attempt to get a "Hallelujah" out of an uncritical audience.

Whoever thought that one up should be ashamed of themselves.
