We've gotten a LOT of rain this year (and will get more today).

Those hills tend to stay greener, as marine moisture lands there from the Pacific Ocean a couple of miles behind them.

The hills on the other side of the valley (behind where I snapped those shots) get all KINDA brown and dried-out, though. <|:)~

It's beautiful here today! I was going to post my Live WebCam and show everyone but it's down due to electrical shock.
We've had some severe thunderstorms over the last few days and it wouldn't surprise me if lightening had struck the WebCam. It is located at the highest point in Georgia on top of Brasstown Bald Mtn.

Swiped a couple of screen caps off my magic monitor...the first is a pic of a dream our CinC had last night, during REM sleep, about 0245 hours, on board the USS Lincoln...the second is a look at a genuine 21st Century Action Hero, the Presidential series: Commander Dubya.

I use this cool JAVA applet called "PixMaker". There's a link button to their website in the bottom left of the photo.

The software can do 360-degree panoramas. I'd think Realtors could use it to show off their properties online.

You snap overlapping digital (or scan in regular) photos. The program then "knits" the images together and applies a curvature to them, so that it looks like you're standing there.
