President Bush and First Lady Laura began the day in a ceremony honoring the National Day of Prayer. Bush then headed to San Diego where he co-piloted a Navy Viking jet and landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a truly historic moment for American Presidents and our country. The President then spoke to the nation saying that major combat operations in Iraq are over. Bush also took the opportunity to once again thank the men and women of our military. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Okay, next to the Inaugural day pictures, this one is my very favorite dose! W looks so GORGEOUS in that uniform, his speech was awesome, and jets are just soooo cool!

Hi OWF! Thought you'd enjoy this....I'm teaching my kids' choir at church (K-2nd grade) to sing 'Peace like a river' w/ inspiration from Eric. They're doing a great job, and learning some sign language to go with the words.

I mentioned on another thread, but Mr Ohio and I were talking about how much he appeals to BOTH men and women on all kinds of levels.

Neither of us think there has EVER been a President who possessed all the qualities that George W. Bush possesses that make him a strong leader, a compassionate and loving man, principled beyond question, courageous beyond belief, and as cute as a bug's ear!

(OK.....so I just threw that last one in for the heck of it!)

Our president is an absolute STUD -- I've never seen anyone look better in a flight suit or a business suit, or a Texas suit (i.e., a pair of jeans and a t-shirt)!
