I sent her an email about President Bush visiting her squadron last week and she called to ask me how I knew as they had been told it was a high ranking official but not who it was. She and the rest of VS-41 cannot believe the President is using one of their planes. That is their #1 pilot from the squadron flying the plane! Not sure she is going to come down to earth anytime soon!

A Navy Commander on board the Lincoln said, a few minutes ago on CNN, that as soon as the President lands he will be hooked up to the catapult for another go-around. That's going to be something to see.

I saw on Discovery wings, they landed a C-130 cargo plane on a carrier, just to see if it could be done. (they only did it one time). The pilot got the Navy Cross.

John Elliott (redheaded guy) is on board and VERY excited. He's speaking with various crew members and he's tossing around words like "cool, exciting, thrilling", etc. He just said "bless you" to a crew member!
