What made these pinheads think they could throw rocks at our soldiers with impunity?

Just once, I would love it if CNN or Reuters or AP would ask some of these demonstrators why they bring their 5 year old kids with them if there is a possibility a violent confrontation might occur. I know the reason the kids are there, but it would be nice if once in awhile the so-called reporters that make up our mainstream media expressed some curiosity about the repeated use of children as shields by Baathists, Islamists, etc.

Looks like a weak attempt to keep the "saddam is alive" myth alive, just in case.

I think they must learn better..don't you?(they threw a few bullets ,too)I think the parents also need to teach their children that rock throwing is dangerous to their health.

Anyone seen Rules of Engagement?
To: Kay Soze

Darwin is going to have his way with these idiots if they keep using Stone Age weapons against a modern American army.
NOTE TO IDIOTS: The U.S. is *not* Israel. We do not have to show restraint, and in those times when we do show restraint and extreme compassion, it is due to our choice rather than our obligation.

One could argue that throwing rocks is enough.
Perhaps we don't want ANYONE to think we'll put up with the crap that's been going on in the West Bank and Gaza.

And don't you just love the way Yahoo in their main page news headlines area puts it:; "Rumsfield Visits, More Protesters Shot", as if it were Kent State.

CBS radio-More Iraqis die " at the hands of US soldiers." As if they are mass murderers. Notice how the media always gives the Iraqi version first, then the military's version-which automatically makes the military sound defensive.
