VANITY -- LETS ALL BUY HILLARY'S BOOK -- VANITY

Posted on 04/29/2003 3:58:33 PM PDT by my right

Okay, okay, before you all start flaming me, let me explain my proposal:

Whenever Hillary's book hits the market, instead of a couple of thousand of us buying her book out of morbid curiosity, let's collectively buy it and have a volunteer, (someone with more time and computer skills than I), to break it down and present it here in a forum where we can discuss how really horrible it is. I will donate a dollar and all excess will go to FR. Can we legally do this?

I believe that would be copyright infringement.

I dunno if it's legal or not. I don't see why it wouldn't be though.

I'll contribute $5.00 to the cause, but bigawd, don't ask me to read the d@mn thing! :)

Thanks. I think I'll wait for the made-for-TV movie. It ought to be out in a month or so.

Well as long as you reference the quotes I think you would be okay. And you don't have to purchase the book. You could check it out of your local library. Or just go by your local DNC office, I am sure there will lots of copies available and they probably would be glad to give you a copy just to get rid of them. LOL

Well, we have to come up with something that doesn't involve paying for it. Theft seemed the most obvious solution.

Perhaps you could befriend some wild-eyed liberal and borrow the book.

Why do you think I suggested someone else do the analyzing? I don't think I would have the stomach for it, besides, I have high blood pressure.

It's perfectly fine to have one read it and provide an executive summary for general discussion. However, I refuse to be the reader....I have a weak stomach.

But it's not as soft, strong or absorbent as my usual toilet paper.

Here's the Cliff's Notes:

"Lie. Lie lie lie lie lie. Obfuscate.

Conceal, attack. Smear. Lie lie lie.

Whine, shriek, lie some more."
