Still knee-deep in homophobia

Let me translate into "bigotspeak" what Sen. Rick Santorum meant when he compared gays to bigamists, polygamists and practitioners of incest and adultery.

Translated: Hey, I place you in the same category as all those scummy people I just mentioned. Oh, and if you act on who you are, you're also a criminal.

I actually would favor the repeal of laws like this, but the gay lobby has pushed laws punishing people for their personal disapproval of their acts, like forcing Christian landlords to rent to gay "couples."

So, until all laws are repealed which punish people for their religious beliefs in this regard, I want these laws to stay on the books.

"Tell that to the two men in Texas who were arrested in their own home."

I think it was because one was "in" the other.

Sorry, it's the Roger Rabbit in me ("shave and a haircut...").

My point was entirely valid. There are TONS of symbolic laws on the books. That was the first one that came to mind.

Well, if I acted on who I was........goodness, I think I might cut a swath of destruction from California to Rhode Island! If I only lived for and defined myself by my various lusts, I would not be a very productive part of society. And people around me would be little more than pawns which I believe I could use for whatever purpose I please! When people are used they devalue their humanity.

That is what is wrong with Promiscuity.

The Gay community does not want to get married anyway! In Seattle they just about hung a doctor that published a report telling gay men to be monogamous! They themselves said that being promiscuous was part of their "lifestyle"!

They REFUSE to use condoms or in anyway alter their lifestyle to promote public health!

Have you ever met anyone that was afraid of a homosexual?

Well, yes. There was a time when Act-Up could be very violent if you spoke out against homosexuality. So groups stopped speaking out for fear of the harm.

The homophobes are the ones afraid to tell the truth about homosexuality for fear that Act-Up will return.

Shalom.

But currently, a miniscule percentage of known speeders are prosecuted ! ! !

EVERY time i go on the freeway virtually ALL cars are driving at least 5 miles over the limit, most at least 10 or 15.

The police and prosecutors in the state know this.

When the cops are out, the majority of people (they are already ALWAYS driving at least 10 MPH over the liimt) slow down to 5 miles over the limit. And yet the cops do not ticket us all or even try to get our license plates.

If you hate someone solely because they're gay, or if you believe -- as Santorum does -- that consenting gay adults should be arrested in their own homes, then you might be a homophobe.

I don't recall Santorum saying anything about wanting to see homosexuals arrested in their homes, what I remember him saying is that it SHOULD NOT be up to the Supreme Court to decide how a state enacts their laws on issues such as these. Does that make someone who disagrees with Santorum a "StatesRightsaphobe"?

{I suspect it is much higher than among the general population}

I'm not so sure about that. The newspaper industry is probably just loaded with too many Marxist adovocates.

Not anymore. Concerning recent events, they are also in favor of renaming Squaw Peak, and were outraged at the looting.

This is just the beginning. Homo's want their lifestyle accepted just like any other married couple. They will soon be pushing for non-discriminatory "rights" and anyone who says anything that upsets them will be in court or jail for hate speech.

Sexual orientation is not a right.

On Beck's radio show today he was talking about a company that had to defend itself against a cross-dressing male who didn't get the job. He claimed the company discriminated against him because of his 'orientation.'

The goal is the destruction of marriage, religion and our society. Take a look at the agenda of some of these homosexual groups that want the age of sexual consent lowered.

We have to fight against these people and their agenda.

Perhap they're tired of being singled out as the only sinners.

But they weren't. Santorum mentioned four other classes (including infidelity which you like to harp on as being ignored by the religious right).

Shalom.

Can anyone here on FR point to a moral code of any religion that accepts homosexual behavior as moral but polygamy, bigamy, adultery, and incest as immoral?

Sure. The religion of liberalism, that holds certain things such as homosexuality, abortion, and a few other things in their highest regard.

Speeding tickets are given at the discretion of the officer.

You ain't seen nothing yet. They will soon have achieved universal healthcare for same sex parnters. Because homosexuals in general have MUCH higher health care needs, your insurance is going to to up.
