C-SPAN just announced that Ritter is going to be somehow involved in a program airing tonight at 9:30 pm est.....they didn't elaborate, simply that at that time will be Scott Ritter.

The C-Span site says the 9:30 program is "TBA" - an appearance by Ritter? I doubt C-SPan would do a "story" about a breaking news issue.

BTW, the 1 1/2 hour program before "TBA" is "Forum - 1993 March for Lesbian and Gay Rights - National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Assn.

You may want to check this out. Snow said Ritter had been given money by a rich Iraqi (old news) and Galloway got money from Qusay (news that's about 2 days old). I think you may have confused the two reports.

I think you're right; Ritter has always admitted being paid by the Iraqis - he just claimed that it had no influence on him and denied any connection between Saddam and his close relative (who paid Ritter).

Normally this wouldn't be the case, but there is a big difference between your headline "money from Saddam's son" and "heard on Fox news that Scott Ritter was on the Iraqi dole."

The British reporter, David Blair, has documents from the Intelligence Headquarters. The Christian Science Monitor reporter has documents that came from one of Qusay's houses. The CSM reporter is the one who had documents about Galloway that were signed by Qusay.

So which was it: did they specifically say "from Saddam's son?" Did they mention Qusay by name?

I think he meant the "oil for palaces" program, but.... what do I know. It isn't a surprise that Scottie was there for a speech by Galloway. The two probably got their pay from the same source. And got some extra-curricular activities from the same source as well. *sigh*
