SARS is now attacking intestines as well as lungs, and other organ failure is becoming more common.
Some experts are expressing concern that SARS may have mutated into a more virulent form.

Man made plague. How nice. Especially nice for the luddite Islamics who want the whole world flash frozen circa the 6th century.
We cannot buy a break. USA posted healthy economic growth in the 1st qtr. China is going to take us down along with everyone else. So much of our current share value is predicated on cheap chinese labor and willing chinese consumers. Not good.

I take elderberry herbal capsules and a zinc tablet at the first hint of cold or flu. Haven't had either in two years.

Interesting. Patricia A Doyle at
Rense.com is claiming the opposite, that because it is manmade it will most likely "unravel" and become no worse than a common cold.

I expect this to be dealt with by the time I go to Blockbuster this weekend.

The deadly SARS virus is now attacking the intestines as well as the respiratory system, a leading Hong Kong microbiologist said yesterday. I'd say this is why diarrhea was indicated in some SARS patients.
To: EternalHope
"Initially patients were presenting with just respiratory failure," Dr Buckley said. "Now we're seeing renal failure and other organ failure." If this thing gets out of hand it will decimate whole populations.

This is just great, I already have irritable bowel syndrome. Time for both tin foil hats and tin foil underpants! This is going to get hugh and series.

Do you have that link about SARS attacking major organs, including the nervous system?

How can the doctors tell if it is the SARS virus itself to blame, and not some other opportunistic infection that sets in? China is one incredible germhole.
To: EternalHope
Or maybe someone released a "new and improved" version.

This is a very bad development, not only because it's now attacking other organs besides the lungs, but because diarrhea is a very effective form of transmission in third world countries. Just think of all the people who wash their clothes in the Ganges River in India, for example.

I'm beginning to think this is a "designer virus", manufactured in a Red Chinese biolab which escaped.
