It's Earth Day. Find out how evil you are.
My Footprint ^

Posted on 04/22/2003 5:27:40 AM PDT by Valin

If everyone live like your humble servant it would take 4 earths. I'm so ashamed of myself. :-( I was hoping for more, it's obvious that in the coming year I will have to buckledown and try harder.

7.9 planets... did I pass?

Oh great Freeper, I am not worthy. I registered a mere 4.6. I must build separate houses for each of my children. I must buy a Humvee. I must contract with out-of-state ranchers to murder innocent cattle. I drive to check my mail. I must drive to the supermarket to buy each item I need individually. I must chop down more trees in my yard. I must...

Hey, I'm at 5.1 planets. too! I thought I was doing pretty good, what with my husband taking a job 3 minutes from our house. I guess I'd better start bicycling to the grocery and growing my own bananas. Of course, to grow my own bananas would require adding a greenhouse, which would increase the square footage of my home, so it would probably be a wash.

I wonder why they want your zip code. Interesting to think that the same answers in different regions would yield different scores.

I said I never fly on commercial carriers.

He responded with a smile.

Then I told him I prefer to charter the Gulfstream G500 or G550. Non-stop Boston to Maui.

Suddenly he looked really miffed.

One round trip should be worth well over 100 planets. (I haven't done it yet, but I've decide it's the best way to fly.)

I don't feel guilty at all.

I also recycle, don't use styrofoam, turn the water off when I'm brushing my teeth.

My only point being that, if we all did this and if conservatives didn't scoff at the concept, the greenies would have less to whine about...not that it would stop them.

It gets worse. Click on "What about other species?" and see that these freaks propose that we leave 70% of the earth to them. For the record, we already do (the ocean floor), but they propose 70% of the land, I presume.

I think that they want us to live wretched lives; after all, eating a local, plant-based diet around here during the winter is pretty much impossible, unless you survive on ice, twigs, and bark. When you don't have heat, running water, or electricity and you're packed into a green-design apartment shack, ... (I wouldn't want to be there)

I hear you! according to this screwy test, we would need 3.3 planets if everyone lived like me....which is in a one bedroom apartment and I walk to work....hmmmmm.

Dang. Only 6.1 planets. At least our solar system can fulfill my needs. Gotta start flying some. Also, if I start driving faster, I think I can get my Jeep down below 15 mpg. Since it's just my wife and me, we don't make as much trash as our neighbors with kids, but maybe they're just really messy.

Three planets. (Can I help it if I'm retired, and don't drive, and don't eat anything that has more than 5 ingredients on the label?)

What a bunch of twaddle this stupid "quiz" is. This silly questionnaire indicates one thing: A bunch of useless people with WAAAAY too much time on their hands put it together. Sheesh. These guys need to go get work.

Both of you beat me!

After I rebuild the 400 V8 in my '69 Chevy truck this summer, I hope to improve somewhat.
