General Lockyer was grandstanding, of course, He is the heir-apparent to the mantle of Gray Davis in three years. There was no reason for him to even be on, let alone bump the Modesto press conference 15 minutes.

IMHO, Att. Gen. Lockyer was grandstanding at the press conference. He was the only one who read every word he said. Then he pops up on Larry King, making me wonder of he is CNN's boy.

I believe it was premeditated as well.. in hearing the discussion on Fox about motive.. IMO the motive was that Scott Peterson knew if he divorced his pregnant wife due to the affair, he would be looked on by his family, friends in a very negative light.. (look at what they have said about his character).. being an outcast was to him worse than just having his wife 'disappear'.. maybe Laci Peterson had not known about the affair YET.. and he was fearful of her telling the families.. just speculation of course ...

I don't want to call Amber simple - I have never met her...but she did say she didn't know he was married. So, I can hypothesize he was dimmer than his college-educated wife. (Who I know graduated from Cal Poly, and at a minimum passed the CBEST to teach)

I don't think concrete blocks would wash up on shore, woudl they? I mean, bodies wash up because they were living tissue in decomposition. But concrete blocks are pretty heavy inanimate objects, right? I got the impression that divers would have to search the bottom of the bay for those concrete blocks--admittedly a very huge challenge.

Some other expert said last night that it was possible, using tides/currents/environmental analysis in reverse, to figure out the direction/spot her body and her baby's came from. Don't know if I'm saying this right, but the idea is if you can analyze the current that brought the bodies IN to shore, then you can figure out the source point. I hope that's right. Any add'l evidence to 'cement' (pun pun) this guy's fate would be terrific.

Thank you for your kind words. I think the creeps must have a natural tendency toward looking like their master. The image of the beast, as it were. In the case of Einhorn/Westerfield/Peterson, it appears to be the Goat of Mendez/Baphomet.

Not really, here in California, they get sent to jail, and die of old age there.

Rita just on Fox says she has talked to people that have spoken to Snott's family and they are still maintaining his inocense and that he is STILL telling his family that he didn't do it...she says it sounds like he is going to fight this, not talking to anyone except his lawyer, no visitors today. People who know him that Rita has talked to say that he never expected to be arrested.

Rita went on to say that the times she had spoken to him she found him cold, was not as animated when talking about finding his wife and baby as he was when he talked about golf. He never looked her in the eye when she questioned him about Laci, looked down or away like a little boy who wouldn't look you in the eye while lying to you.

The family has been buying his bs for some time. Why did his skip out of his golf scholarship at ASU? Why did he abruptly sell The Shack and move from SLO. It looks like a pattern.

I believe he did have murder on his mind when he bought the boat. Remember Laci didn't even know he had purchased a boat. Neither did anyone know right away that he had a SECOND secure, storage facility rented. Sheesh DOUBLE life indeed.
