Jerry Doyle (Garabaldi from Babylon 5) talking on Michael Savage about being BLACKBALLED
The Micahael Savage Show (with Rusty Humphreys tonight) | 04.17.03 | Self

Posted on 04/17/2003 5:33:50 PM PDT by Beck_isright

Rusty just had Jerry Doyle a "conservative" actor from Hollywood on. It was an interesting contrast to the whining from Susan "I love Stalin" Sarandon and Tim "Mass Murder by Commies is Great" Robbins. He said that after he ran for Congress in 2000 as a Republican, he was basically blackballed from getting any parts in Hollywood. To paraphrase "after the 2000 election I was about as busy as a deodorant salesman in Paris". I guess we need more actors to step forward about the policy of blackballing conservatives in Hollywood to demonstrate that the shrill whine from the left is total bs.

Scientology is a sham religon.

So is liberalism. During the Clinton era it was hard to tell the two apart.

Scientology is a sham religon.

Apparently it's a lot more acceptable in California than conservatism, though.

A couple of years ago, O'Reilly did a thing on conservative actors and actresses. I think Pia Zadora was one he interviewed. I can't remember who else.

I think during the same series he had some Hollywood big wig come on to defend Clinton and the best he could do was to say "Clinton is smart, he's got ideas." But he never elaborated on what those ideas were.

I can't remember if O'Reilly pressed him or not, I just remember I kept waiting to hear about these brilliant ideas Clinton had.

I'm still waiting, I guess. I mean, not like actively. I mean, I've never heard what these ideas are that the Hollyweird Leftos found so brilliant.

You are correct. They will not even invite Mr. Heston to religious events in Hollyweird, even when the events have nothing to do with his political or NRA affiliations. They are lying evil communist b*st*rds that need to be taken down more than just a peg or two.

We'll all be waiting unless we do some of that Mena nose candy then we might think up all the brilliant things Clinton did.

Not only is Doyle a good actor but decidated. He finished shooting a scene when shooting one episode with a fractured arm. His father was an NYC police officer and he's been a stock broker. I'm sure he'll be fine.

I'm curious about the whole Andrea Thompson thing, though. One web site I've seen suggests that her child is not Doyle's while others talk like the child is. Neither seems to have said much about why they broke up, at least nothing on the web.

Once again, the goals of the liberals/progressives/socialists/nazis/communists are slavery, torture and death.

So true - the real blacklist is against conservatives....i have been in the perfomance arts for 25 years..I could never go to a meeting at my unions - AfTRA ( Amercian Federation of Radio & Television Artists) Sag (Screen Actor's Guild)or AMF (American Federation of Musicians) and talk about how I support Bush and the troops or any issue different from 'Their' agenda - they would not like that -- all the news letters show photos of members at anti-war rallies or ' vote for Gore etc....
There is no conservative voice - only their view... that is what I call 'intolerance!'. We are defintely the polite and prayful ones!

Yes, he said he ran for the House in 2000 somewhere in California.

He ran against Congressman Brad Sherman (D) and garnered 30% of the vote compared to Sherma's 66% pf the vote.

Interestingly enough, Bruce Willis is also a Republican.

What do you think about the Baseball Hall of Fame disinviting Tim Robbins from the Bull Durham event? That seems like the same thing that happens to Charlton Heston.

Enjoyed Jerry as Michael Garibaldi on my favorite TV series, Babylon 5. Sorry to hear that he lost his election and sorry I didn't hear the interview. Hope he thinks like Abraham Lincoln and refuses to quit. Isn't it interesting how the Hollyweirdo leftists blackball talented actors like Doyle but when the public rises as one voice and tell these Marxists that we've had enough of their leftist platforms, these Hollyweirdo leftists are yelling, whining, crying of being denied their 1st Amendment rights. It's laughable cause the public is not shutting them up but shutting them off. Great message to send to these Hollyweirdo jerkoffs.

The last thing Tim Robbins wants to do is piss off a bunch of all-American baseball lovers. The organizers of the BHoF are smart enough to realize what would happen if Tim and Saddamdon showed up.

I think it was a good thing, though overblown. It happens to conservative actors and celebrities daily but gets zero coverage in the liberal media. Keep that in mind.

I know what Clinton's 'big ideas' were: to normalize sexually perverted behavior, to normalize breaking the law, to normalize trashing all good manners and shows of respect.

Those are the 'big ideas' that Hollywood adores.
