Good point... and all the paper that burned with the Finance Ministry the other day. I have been wondering how much of the "chaos" has been created by operatives. Attacking the party offices is very good cover. The museum is the only aberation, and that may very well wind up in someone's private collection.

makes sense-- they intend to use radical islam to marginalize us in the world. they figure radical islam destroyed the USSR, so why can't it destroy us. they intend to use muslism militancy and kim jong il to humiliate/ defeat us. this is a kabal of the global SOBs vs the good guy.

Next you will be touting "fairness!"+++
Yes this is my word too.

I beleive Russia will ignore UN likewise US all together. Why bother? This is very easy to say when Russia played a major role in destroying the very law you say you lament. Russia was ignoring the UN all along by refusing to enforce the resolutions she took part in, along with France and Germany.

RusIvan, if you are still here. I give up. You are not really a person, you are a pre-programmed transponder with automatic replies to any input; you are an artificial voice coming from a satellite somewhere, with canned replies to any address. All recorded statements are sound-bites defending the new Russian aristocracy of beaucrats, and further attempts to engage in discussion are answered 'I am only here to learn new business'. Even your diction is fake --- an attempt to sound as if English were your second language. You are a pre-recorded digital machine. I hope your device melts down.
To: RusIvan
Maybe your poor English skills have you misinterpreting my comments. I asked if you were an apologist for Russia not if you knew nothing about
Russia.
An apologist is a person who makes excuses for someone's bad behavior.
If even only 10% of this article is correct Russia has done some serious things that are unacceptable to the U.S.A and the U.K..
You seemed to be making excuses for this behavior and that is why I asked you if you were an apologist for Russia.
If Russia spied on Blair and passed that intelligence to Saddam Hussein's regime that would clearly push Russia into the category of aiding the Coalition's enemies and would be unacceptable from a supposed ally and a nation wanting to be brought into the world's business community.
Maybe Putin thinks that America is a waning power and wishes to cast his lot with Europe. I think he's wrong and Russia will pay for his mistake.
To: RusIvan
Really .. Nayfeld , Boris . Argon , Evesi . Monya , Elson .
Balagula , Marat . The cold war has a new face . Soviets and Russians are the same thing VOR .
To: RusIvan
well, do you totally discount the afghan jihad against the soviet invasion? I agree that Reagan broght them down, but I think they intend to use radical islamists as proxies to achieve their aims. Nothing new-- the kgb and stasi have historically used muslim militants to commit terror against the west.
To: My Favorite Headache
Everyone makes mistakes... I don't think Bush will make another one...
To: RusIvan
your system was weak. you used proxies against us in korea and vietnam and our system didn't collapse. when we returned the favor, you're system did. your miscalculation in afghanistan and reagan's policies brought you down.
by the way, why is lenin's face on curtains behind russian government officials when they have given press conferences recently?
is the putin government trying to turn back the clock??

I'm not machine. I got your points and I will think over them. I'm sorry if I disappointed you.
I simply not beleive anyone from instant I have to think it over.
For all here this about Russia is just theory, for me - real practice. I remember all the process of writing of new constitution. I remember those questions you put up today. It isn't new for me. They was widely discussed in Russia.
Common resume was like I said the civil rights wasn't granted but supported.
Still I will think it over again.

Interesting. There was a Pravda article whining that western leaders/media had been grouping Lenin in with "the bad guys" like Stalin. So there seems to be a group there that thinks "Lenin good, Stalin bad..."

do you mind that lenin's image has resurfaced in the halls of power?
what do you think of chirac and shroeder?
comfortable with putin's and russia's involvement with hussein and the baathists?
what does the average yuri and natasha on the street think of putin and his alliance with france and germany?
