I live in Parkersburg WV. I am SO excited that the rally is going to be in WV. We have sent our $31 to the USO/Rally for America. We can't wait to show our support for our troops and the mission they are on. Jessica Lynch symbolizes America's toughness and what place would be better than to have it here and show her our gratitude?

I think it would be a great place too. I called Mayor Columbo's office today, they hadn't heard anything about the rally. I gave them the heads-up and Beck's website address. I'm hoping they'll jump on the band wagon. If you have some time, maybe you can call the Mayor too.

I am in Ohio. My Mom called me today at work and wants to go. I am sooo pumped!

Well, this sounds like fun eh? I'm a little concerned about all those "outsiders" coming to our state though. I hate to think about our paradise being discovered and ruined. As long as everyone thinks we are all backwoods hillbillies living in shacks they stay away and leave us alone in our beautiful secret place. What ya think?

I'm not going to flame you. I'm going to have pity on you. Women have been in combat for centuries, but I won't take the time to try to educate you. When women moved beyond the WASPs and WAVEs and into more front line roles they did so only to prove that they could do the job. I had the same attitude when the entered the service too, but changed after working with them. All I will do is say your post is not apporpriate for this thread.

The purpose of the Rally for America was not to "honor" Jessica Lynch. It is to honor and support all of our troops and their families. But if you can't see that, please, move on. Your concept of the "conservative cause" belongs on boards that have the letters "KKK" in them. Unless you have served with a woman in a combat zone, you do not have a clue what you are talking about.

Mayor Colombo called me this morning. I was shocked. He said it will likely be held in Mineral Wells at the race track. The folks at Glenn Beck is talking to the owners and the mayor seems to think that is the closest and most likely location. I haven't heard an announcement from Glenn yet.
