Arabs Withdraw Request for U.N. Meeting
.c The Associated Press
UNITED NATIONS (AP) - Arab nations decided Wednesday to withdraw a request for a U.N. General Assembly meeting on Iraq, after the fall of Baghdad.
The Arab Group on Monday had called for a meeting, at which it planned to ask for a ceasefire in the U.S.-led war.
Yemen's U.N. Ambassador Abdullah Alsaidi, the 22-nation group's chairman, said it would request another meeting at the ``appropriate time.''
The majority of the Arab Group had opposed the war.

They stand completely discredited, the U.S. completely vindicated. Those pictures out of Baghdad couldn't be spun.

Fox reported this earlier today. It seems that is what the UN Iraqi ambassador was working on before he gave his infamous 'the game is over' comment.
