The War in Iraq is Wrong
Posted on 04/09/2003 9:46:29 AM PDT by Jonathan AG
Ban me, but have the courage to accept the truth.
This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died.
Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power.
I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs.
There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to:
A) plunder its resouces
B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy.
THIS WAR IS WRONG.

Gee Jon, didn't you know that Saddam dammed the water supply to villages that crossed him effectively rendering these people doomed? Now, how is that defensible?

LONDON, April 9 (Reuters) - The emergency humanitarian aid effort to Iraq is building up and
Turkish flour producers said on Wednesday that millers have been asked by the U.N. World Food Programme
(WFP) to supply up to 100,000 tonnes of wheat flour for the war-torn country.
This is the same U.N. World Food Programme that SH's evil son was STEALING from. They found the loot in with his liquor and cigars.

You might want to repeat your sarcasm comment - as it is getting hotter in here.
I actually just read on DU that they would rather US troops die than 1 more Iraqi. Now I need some bloodpressure meds - this is going to kill me.

Always great to see a long-time member of the forum present a cogent post.
I guess while he is posting, he isn't molesting kittens.

I'll see your one injured (but now free) Iraqi civilian, and raise you about a million tortured, gassed and slaughtered by Saddam.

ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy. As I have said before, the thing that the Democrats fear the most (more than despots, terrorism, bio/chemical weapons, nukes, and Hillary's breath) is the possibility that Bush might actually get something done.

Ahhhh, you're back!
Another picture of a boy let out of Saddam's jail.
God Bless him, poor boy, however now he has the best medical care on Earth. US.
And do remember, none of this would have happened if Saddam had cooperated with the UN resolutions.
Who are you blaming?????

You are ignorant. Iraq is NOT without food and water...the water is NOT on in some parts, but will be shortly...besides, how in the HELL can you say this war is wrong when you see the CELBRATIONS? How can you say the war is wrong when you see 300 CHILDREN released from a prision who were held as ranson to control the Iraqi people? How can you DARE say this war is wrong when you see the Iraqi people asking WHY we didn't do it SOONER?
