"If I Die Before You Wake"
(Sung by Dustin Evans)

"To everybody back home,

Back home now I know you're prob'ly sleeping,
But over here it's the middle of the day.
I finally found some time to write a letter,
Sittin' here a half a world away.

I heard about all them folks protesting,
As if I really want this war.
But that don't stop me from believing
There're just some things worth fighting for.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.
I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

Tell everybody that I miss them,
and I can't wait to get back home.
Until then, I'll serve my country
and be proud to wear this uniform.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.

I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.
No, it ain't too high a price to pay
if I die before you wake.

Everything is in His hands"

Not only do I like this tear-jerker of a song, but I like the presntation format and believe it's worth imitating once we get some songs completed.

That's like the pot calling the kettle black!!!! LOL...kidding

I've no room to talk...I just had another "DOH" momment...I went in to make some coffee, phone started ringing in the office, turned on the machine really quick, ran to answer my business phone, got wrapped up in taking care of a client...by the time I was done, I went to grab my cup of tastey hazelnut coffee....only to realize....DOH!!!! Forgot to put the pot under the filter in the coffee maker....all my coffee was all over the kitchen counter and floor. *sigh*

"...an exceptionally good air-brush artist."

Gotta agree...they look a lot better than I wouldda imagined from back in the days I usedta watch their music videos. They still won't git a penny of mine, though, and I'll talk smack about 'em whenever the opportunity presents itself.

"Ummm, can I borrow that air-brush artist?????"

Ya never know! LOL...kidding...but, I will say, that is tasteful. Whilst I was a photojournalist major in college back in my first college life, I had an affinity for "nudes"...not porn...there's surely a difference between this....

.....and Maplethorp or Hustler or Playboy!!!! (that is my personal work from college)

I believe that the human body is very beautiful and should not be "exploited" sexually, but celebrated as one of God's finest creations.

And no...I'm not a nudist tree hugging hippiecrat!!! LOL

Please don't speak for me as I don't find this to be funny at all! I would have handled this very differently.

Going crazy like destroying your spouse's property will only make you look like you're not all together mentally. Furthermore, he could file suit against YOU for damages even though you are the victim. Ladies, you got to learn to use your heads instead of getting all emotional.

If a spouse had cheated on me, I would have just picked up my things and left him for good and made him think about what he did. Then, I would have filed for divorce because cheating is grounds for divorce.

Why make yourself look bad in the public. Sure, he was definitely in the wrong but two wrongs don't make a right!

Don't get mad just get even....legally, that is!

I wouldn't do it either...I find it humorous b/c some Jerry-Springer-type did it and made a fool of herself...not b/c the man was slighted...lol.

I said the same thing to FBD...I'd justleave, ain't worth it.
