"what your "hero" is saying about politics" Hero?! When did I ever say BRUUUUCE was my "hero"? Fact is, I respect the way his lyrics and music interact to evoke a visceral emotional reaction from the listener, and he puts on an excellent concert. It is disappointing to hear evidence--yes, I'd like to see that link as I am sure not about to buy a copy of EW--that Springsteen's so clueless in his political philosophy, but I am also diametrically-opposed to the lion's share of Dylan's politics, too, and that makes him that much more fun to FReep in some ways.

I'm hoping someone with AOL or a subscription posts the article here, like I said, you can't link it unless you "join".
I was just razzing you about the hero thing....I have favorite artists that is more of a respect for their lyrical & musical abilities and not for their political views....which is why it makes me so mad when they feel for us to enjoy their music we must know their political views. I don't want to know their views...that's not why I buy their music.

FYI....if all y'all are wondering how to post pictures that are on your computer...first they have to be "hosted" somewhere....geocities & tripod do not allow remote viewing so that won't work....there's a website called
www.villagephotos.com that sets up photo hosting specifically for hosting them for websites, auctions & posting on boards like this one
They'll even give you a copy and paste html code for those who need it spelled out *cough Mud cough* :o) The first 20 photos are absolutely FREE. And you can delete and change them around.
