For all the free people that still protest.
You're welcome. We protect you and you are protected by the best.
Your voice is strong and loud,
but who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd.
We are your fathers, brothers, and sons,
wearing the boots and carrying guns.
We are the ones that leave all we own,
to make sure your future is carved in stone.
We are the ones who fight and die,
We might not be able to save the world, Well, at least we try.
We walked the paths to where we are at
and we want no choice other than that.
so when you rally your group to complain,
take a look in the back of your brain.
In order for that flag you love to fly
wars must be fought and young men must die.
We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear.
If that's not respected, we would rather stay here.
So please stop yelling, put down your signs,
and pray for those behind enemy lines.
When the conflict is over and all is well,
be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

There is too much to report, and most of it will have to wait for the morning. But now, as I write this, many of the most senior of Saddam's henchmen are confirmed to be in Syria. The resort city of Latakia, with its beautiful beaches, now hosts them. And Syrian banks hold many millions that were looted from Iraq. Intelligence sources--the best of them--report that the Saddam regime's top people and their families are now in Syria. It may be the top five or the top ten, but the traffic into Latakia from Baghdad over the past week or two has been very heavy. Beach? Someone needs to dial 1-800-SEALS and 011-44-207-SBS.

Shep says in one email a man wrote he felt sorrr for the soldiers who die, and their families, but he does not feel sorry for the reporters who die, or their families.

Shep said the email stated: "I care for the soldiers who died. But I dont' caer for the journalists who die, and I don't care for the journalists who died's families either."

I think it is a back lash from all the negative media reporting. The one he just quoted was pretty cruel. America may be waking up to the propaganda of the CNNBCABCBS media hacks. Fox does cover the full spectrum....got to love them.
