President Bush ended his visit to Northern Ireland today as he met one last time with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern. The war in Iraq was still the focus of their meeting, particularly the question of whether or not Saddam Hussein is still alive after coalition forces used four bunker buster bombs on a restaurant where Hussein was alleged to be. Discussions also took place regarding post war Iraq and the evolving Mideast peace plan. President Bush returned to the White House late this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

No. Elitists are girly men.

Here in the Sacramento area it hit 74. I hate heat. To me, this is heat. ugh. I have the whole house fan on to cool it down a bit...should be 43 by morning outside and 64 inside. Perfect.

As always MJY...thank you for sharing your thoughts. :o)

**Not all of us live near a military base where we can stand outside the gates with a sign of support. Most do, however, live near a Recruiting Station. Take the time to stop by and offer a word of thanks to those folks. Most of them as well as our first responders never hear a word of thanks (I understand they like Krispy Kremes, too). (^: **
Yesirreeeee Dave!
My daughter and I visit recruiters once a week, delivering goodies of some type. This week it's brownies. They love it and sooooo appreciate the thought and caring gesture.

Every single picture on the Dose tonite is an absolute keeper. And I'm not just talking about the ones with The President in them. I'm talking about all of them -- the ones with the troops, and the ones with the Iraqis. Especially the first two in this series that say "Yes for Bush" and "No Saddam." Totally love em. Thanks for bringing them to us, rintense. You are awesome. And so is the President and our troops.

SF Chron re impeaching Bush ... That is so like a dim to want to impeach Bush for doing absolutely nothing wrong and everything right. Of course they were furious at the notion of having x42 impeached and you all know he was worse than a little devil. Just goes to show the intelligence and logic that dims possess......NONE!!!

Bushie, I don't think that was a picture of Ohio and Mr. O. This woman isn't wearing glasses and I'm pretty sure Ohio wears glasses. Plus I think Ohio was just taking the picture of Bar.
I could be wrong, but I think I'm right. What say you, Ohio?

I have a special prayer request for my friend, (FReeper) SiberMike, and his family. (Goodnesswins, Wphile, you met him at lunch last summer.) He just got word from his mother on the results of a biopsy done for two tumors in her sinus area. It wasn't good news.
She has two different types of cancer. The facial tumors are lymphatic large-cell, fast-growing, and extend behind and above one eye and under the bridge of her nose, crossing to the other side of her face. She also has small-cell, noncurable chronic lymphatic leukemia (CLC) which gives a life expectancy of ten to 15 years.
She started chemotherapy that lasts for 18 weeks (total of six treatments). Each treatment lasts six hours. The chemotherapy is making her very sick with nausea, etc. She didn't say if the tumors in her face are considered curable so Mike doesn't know what her overall life expectancy is when both cancers are considered. She is 61.
All the family are saved but any prayers anyone would like to pause for a moment and offer would be very welcome. Mike is very close to his mom in heart, although not in distance, and this is difficult for everyone.

What terrible news. Mike's mother and their family will be added to my prayer list. 6 Hours of Chemo sounds so brutal.

This impeachment thing is the brain child of Ramsey Clark (the retired general). The guy is a lunatic!
