Interestingly, the ONLY news agency Mastrianni EVER talks to is Agence France Presse; doing a google search turns him up only in AFP articles.
And Mastrianni is the same guy who said earlier today that the chemicals at the first site were pesticides.

Hope our guys are okay.
Thanks for the post. It will be interesting to see if this is confirmed . . .
If the substance is confirmed as mustard gas, Mastrianni said this was a breach of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's commitment not to produce or use chemical weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.

Maybe someone with better posting skills than I could gather up all the stories on possible chem weapons find.
It's hard to keep up with them and keep straight whether a report is of a new incident or what.

Those pesticides are nasty stuff...

I'm afraid you're mistaken. You see, there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
If they really found some bad stuff, it must have been planted by the coalition forces.
Saddam doesn't have weapons of mass destruction.

Many of these stories are vague -- and there is the implication that some of the chemicals might be pesticides. Of course there is the one story that had an NPR reporter finding missiles and shells loaded with something -- I find it hard to believe that this stuff could be just bug-killer.
