Some conservatives like myself have had our assumptions challenged. I once looked at the world as kind of a losing proposition. I saw the corruption and billowing federalism in America. Though I could see improvements on a small scale around me, our Founding Fathers vision of a shining beacon on a hill was slipping away: government and internationalists power constantly growing; social problems continuing to worsen. In short, victory on a worldwide scale for the forces of good seemed impossible. The victory in Iraq has not addressed ANY of the concerns that the author mentions. He gets sucked up into the euphoria of victory and the joy of the moment.

Cool! I have a little bit about him at the very bottom of my FR profile--check out www.videoranch.com- that's his personal website where you can get all his albums, etc. I have them all and I LOVE the CD "And the Hits just Keep on Comin" and "Nevada Fighter" (which has Grand Ennui on it.)

I am so afraid Hitlery, Dashole, Pelosi, and the rest of that putrid garbage will just lay in the shadows and sneak attack again. We cannot allow them to get away with it. We need to be on their case and in their face. And if our so-called 'representatives' aren't up to the task, then they need to go too.

There is truly a war within a war playing out now. A war in the homes
schools
media
Hollywood
music business
churches
in black and Hispanic America too. Its a war for our hearts and minds, and its on! That is so true. When your kid comes home from school and tells you the teacher was spouting anti war crap get on the phone and raise he##. I think Michael Moore and his ilk got their nose burned when many of his peers booed him on national TV.

G.W. could use John Thune in the Senate come Jan. 2005. For only seventeen days. George W. Bush, much as I have come to adore him, is not a candidate for the Presidency in 2004. To the best of my knowledge, President Bush, however, has not indicated that he will not run. All the Republican candidates appear to be inexperienced schizophrenic crackpots, so I'm afraid that if we can't draft someone better, we're going to lose.

This is great and dandy, BUT I really believe that the reason this war, which by the way ain't over yet, has been a success up to now is because of our CONSTANT cry to God for guidance, wisdom, and protection! God has ABSOLUTELY everything to do with this war...TO GOD BE THE GLORY lest we forget to give him the glory!! With all our hearts Father thank you for your faithfulness to us! Thank you JESUS!!

Carter and Clinton. The American people, and history, will not be kind to these fools. May they be stuffed back into the sorry holes they crawled out of.

"
Brigadier General Vince Brooks is excellent, isn't he?"Brigadier General Vincent Brooks deserves a special medal for keeping his cool and showing professionalism while under fire.
How that remarkable man withstood the onslaught from those a**holes who call themselves journalists and reporters, I'll never know!
(oh wait --- they are journalists and reporters! Now I know!)
General Brooks is to be commended.
