oh, yeah! and still he invites questions, saying "Please." (yeah, prob pr, but it does show BIG difference between US and Iraq 'minister of disinformation')

And like Rumsfeld, he won't tolerate incorrect premises -- as in that stupid question yesterday from usa today reporterette asking about our "sashay" into baghdad, or similar diminutive term for our first trip into the city. Which of course led to us being there more firmly entrenched today, DUH!! he corrected her, did not allow it to stand.

starting a Brig. Gen Vincent Brooks fan club here, lol? I do keep him and others in my prayers, too -- all working for us safe here at home.

I'm sure if Klinton had gotten a 3rd term, we would have had his arms sculptured holding crossed cigars.

LOL. Bet they would have been Cuban Cigars.

Our guys are there with the greatest land and air and sea machines and weapons the world has ever seen, and killing the rag-headed shitbirds by the thousands, and all the liberal faggots can do is drone on about the Fedayeen and their f---ing Russian pop-guns.

Well....... what more can you expect from a bunch of LEFTist, COMMIE's, Socialists, who don't deserve in live on our soil. They have NO appreciation for OUR country. They're still pining for Willie Wonka and his toys. Geez...... what a bunch of dumbass Unamericans.

I wonder what Baghdad Bob will have to say about this :)

I think the "please" is just part of the standard military style of briefings. But you're right, it's very effective. Or maybe "please" is short-hand for:
"Oh Heavens, PLEASE don't ask me another idiotic question!"

An Iraqi worker identified only as Mohammed, right, helping in the reconstruction of a road near the port of Umm Qasr, speaks to US Rear Admiral Charles Kubic April 6, 2003. The Navy Seabees have started working with locals in repairing roads, setting up playgrounds and helping in the distribution of potable water in an effort to return life to normal. Mohammed later spoke with journalists and told them 'Tell (German Chancellor Gerhard) Schroeder and (French President Jacques) Chirac that if they lived for just one day under Saddam they would have asked the whole world to come and liberate us.'
