Nope. 'Cuse was picked by many to go to the Final Four as they played the Region Finals just a driver/5 iron from Syracuse. But the expectations were that Arizona and Kentucky would be the National Championship game in the Semi-Finals. Funny thing is, neither of them even got to the Final Four.

I just posted about a possible bunker under the house before you pinged me. They weren't taking any chances.

Unless they escaped through a tunnel...

I'm so confused...I just walked in on the TV and feel like I'm watching a replay of the first night of the war...I thought they were probably dead already? :)
To: An.American.Expatriate
Well, we killed Chemical Al 3 times. Now Saddam, twice. So, does that mean Saddam has 1 more life to live?
SHOCK 'n' AWE
Just enough force, precisely placed. A delicate operation, with extreme prejudice.
Damn, I am so proud of the USA, and our troops. Speechless folks, just speechless, and I dunno how to be huumble and proud at the same time, but I am.

I saw Saddam's former Chief of Protocol(?) on TV tonight. He was saying that there was no way the Saddam would be in a bunker because we know where the bunkers are. He said that Saddam would be hiding in a private house in a poorer neighborhood, a populated area. Maybe he knew what he was talking about.

DTV said August 2002. Is it really live and are the Dixie Chicks going to be there?

They say Saddam often traveled in old cars and raggedy clothes....just one of the guys.
To: Cboldt
Ironic if this is the strike that was "whined" about by Bob Arnett and others, re: "you pricks hit a residential area.". Well, yeah, if that's where the head of the snake is.
You mean Peter Arnett? He was whining on NTV earlier this afternoon about a residential area being hit. [It sounded more like typical 1-family houses, whereas the bombing reports from TV tonite sound like an apartment type complex.]

Saddamn was always a big hole! LOL
I hope there is a body that can be hung on the public square for the populace to see. And Okey and Queasy too!

How much you want to bet we've been following him since that Mosh Pit appearance in Baghdad?
I'll say it again:
Saddam is now a Big HOLE!

Nothing official, just unnamed sources. It'll be a few hours before we actually get feet on the ground there, and probably alot more time until we can sift through all the rubble. Even more time will be necessary if their bodies are no longer integrated.

Bloom was an okay guy. I thought some of his WH quesions were slanted, but he should have had Brokaw's job. Prayers to his wife and three daughters. The embed reporters of today are the anchors of tomorrow. Shear genius, Torrie...
