LOL!!!!!!!!
I was also thinking that the photo was just a hair out of date.

Funny you should mention that. I was just about to ask the question "who should play Baghdad Bob in 'Iraq: The Movie'".
You've obviously made your nomination, and it's a good one.
Any other suggestions?

How about Ernest Borgnine?
I believe Borgnine is alive, though frankly I was under the impression he was dead, which I felt would make him even more capable of realistically portraying the soon-to-be-late Baghdad Bob.

Hollywood? Nah, if Hollywood had made it up, they'd have used the wrong tanks, the wrong weapons, all of the Marines would have long hair, and there would be prominently featured and repeated scenes of US troops murduring innocents.
Also, every anti-military, anti American actor in the Hollywood yellow pages would be crowding the camera to deliver a political soliloquy.

It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. BaghdadBob going on & on how the Iraqis were beating back American forces. I am looking for a parody on Saturday Night Live.

I believe Borgnine is alive, though frankly I was under the impression he was dead . . .Borgnine is alive. He is the voice of Mermaid Man on Spongebob Squarepants.

LOL! When I saw your title I thought hmmmm...a report on Bob Arnott!

I wonder how he will explain the US aircraft landing at the airport? This guy should have his own show on the Comedy Channel! The thing is, he's so far out of the loop that he actually believes it. Iraqi TV was hilarious yesterday. They took the journalists round to see destroyed "US tanks". Pictures showed Iraqi militia jumping up and down on pieces of tank and the burned out hulk of an armoured fighting vehicle. They were actually destroyed Iraqi Soviet made BMPs. With recognition skills like these the Coalition should be air-dropping RPG's over Baghdad!

Ok...if you have a choice of watching Baghdad Bob...professional golf...professional bowling...or an update on HIllery Clinton's image enhancement...what do you watch?
To: ALS
Thanks for that. I'm crying with laughter! His daily briefings are prime time TV for me. I hope he does fall into Coalition hands. I've love to see that smirk wiped off his face.

"Baghdad Bob's show will be cancelled" Oh I do hope the new folks renew his contract. The Iraqis will need the some humor when this is all over. Besides, I've come to look forward to his misinformation reports. Does he really think he is convincing anyody? Every indication is that we can get at the truth by assuming the exact opposite of what this idiot says...kinda like the average democRAT politician.

"Ya think sodom might be "out of the loop" for some reason?" Oh, I think he is out of the loop alright. He's either in hell or on his way. I'm inclined to believe the former.
