that was found in a wrecked and abandoned ambulance. The Red Cross/Crescent
ambulance again had rocket launchers and grenades hidden in the bed rolls and medical supplies.

In Baghdad, combat engineers of the 3rd Infantry division
found Iraqi explosives on a bridge over the Euphrates river after they secured the area.
More war crimes by Saddam against his own people.

In Baghdad, Iraq, on the banks of the Euphrates river,
Iraqi soldiers are captured.

========= Baghdad International Airport =========

From space, Baghdad International Airport.

At Baghdad International Airport, heroes secured the airport.

On the outskirts of Baghdad, heroes of U.S. Marine of the 3rd battalion fire mortar shells
to take enemy position.

Outside of Baghdad, Iraq, at the Republican Guard Medina Division headquarters.
Found was atropine for WMD.

Found in Baghdad, gas masks.

From Baghdad, almost freed Iraqis flee from Saddam's tyrants.

Over Baghdad, more crecendo shock and awe.

In Baghdad, Iraq, Plumes of black for Saddam's war crime.
Old videos dont have them all.

In Baghdad.

On the outskirts of Baghdad, enemy Iraqi Republican Guard.

Yemen and elsewhere prepare for their bus
departing for frontline positions and their promised virgins.

appeared Saturday to counteract US and Coalition forces arriving.
Good shooting by the Coalition.

Old video footage of the dead Saddam show clear skies,
clean buildings, autumnal dress, when in fact Baghdad has oil fires
summer dress, and battered buildings. Check the video pics' clean
skies and compare to other pictures in this post.

Iraqi enemy in police cars going in circles.
Guarding weapons in the mosque next to the Palestinian hotel?

Utterly daffy Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al Sahaf aka Sahid Al Saha
claimed "Baghdad was firmly under Iraqi control", and "We were able to chop off their rotten heads.''
ROTFLOL.

There is nothing like a Saturday afternoon joy ride around Baghdad in a Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Re your concerns about Mosques heavily guarded by thugs of a guy who has desroyed plenty of Mosques and murdered millions of Moslems;

I strongly suspect that there might be some kind of unpleasant surprise awaiting occupying forces in there - potentially nuclear. How high over the terrain does a nuke have to be for maximum effectiveness? How high are those minarette / steeple towers beside every Mosque?

Aware of our sensitivity to religious shrines, Saddamnites will know that if the whole rest of the city is leveled, coalition forces will be very careful to leave the Mosques unscathed, and occupying "Infidels" will probably not be allowed anywhere near one of them.
What better place to conceal a Soviet surplus City-Killer nuclear warhead?
Or a bunch of them?

Re the Greg Kelley Video: Did you happen to catch the early releases of some of that footage before they were edited/cut?

Like the Iraqi Driver burning in his jeep, a 3rd ID Tank crew bailing out of a burning M-1A1 Abrams (last man out pulls pin and flips what looks like a frag grenade down the main hatch to finish her off before he jumps clear) and the foiled "surrender and ambush" scam attempt of 3 Iraqi soldiers, where 2 of the 3 are mowed down with a MG from one of the armored vehicles.

I hope we can get an "unedited" version. They cut a lot out after the first showing.

Thanks, these reminders of the humanitarian side of our mission are so important. I went out to a mall here in Silicon Valley today, and there were several families shopping around who were probably from Arabic-speaking countries. Their kids were happy, and their smiles suddenly reminded me of the most important things we all share in common.

Hopefully our troops can get past the "shoot first and ask questions later" phase in Iraq as soon as possible.

I heard on TV a few days ago that almost half the mics at the Info Minister's podium were merely taped in place and not hooked up to anything.
