Lawyers in Iraq don't count; they aren't making millions picking the pockets of the rest of the nation, and you can bet they aren't making loads of money getting criminals off on technicalities (Not directed at all lawyers here - plenty of them are good people not involved in these types of shenanigans).
It would really be inappropriate for a lawyer here to suggest that the legal beagles here have something in common with this guy. Kind of like in the 80's when American Unions tried to claim some kind of 'brotherhood' with Solidarnosc of Poland, when the Poles were after some level of freedom and would have thought they were in heaven if they'd had what workers here (union and otherwise) already had.

"Because I love much."
That says it all and he proved it through his action.
I hope Private Lynch and this good man and his family meet one day.

Hopefully, the people who KNOW his name aren't dumb or naive enough to give it to a reporter in the first place!

Somewhere recently, I read about a guy going into Iraq to try to stop the war. He stayed with people in rural areas, and mentioned the hospitality and kindness shown by people there. I know a woman from Iraq, and she is one of the kindest people I've ever met. I like to think that the majority of people there are like that.
This guy was returning a favor by helping get Jessica out. I'm sure there are many other people like him helping us whenever they can.

1. Not every muslim is an enemy.
2. This man took a very real risk to himself and his family to do the right thing.
3. We must do right by him. He helped us, now we must help him.
PostScript. Illbay, I'm not anti-muslim, just anti-terrorist.

Saddam will order every Mohammed killed now. That would take all day wouldn't it?

Interesting. He walked a total of 20-24 miles to help an american soldier that he did not even know. What a decent man. I'll trade him for half the Democrats.

I'm not anti-muslim, anti terrorist....
My Middle Eastern parents had relatives killed by muslims in Turkey at the turn of the century. However, it was a KIND muslim family that saved the life of my mother and grandmother, protecting them from the butchers.

That's right. It is only the vile-violent scum that needs killing.
There are some good people in every outfit.

President Bush should invite Jessica and this guy to the Whitehouse for another meeting.

I said this on the first thread. If I had anything to say about it, this man and his family would want for nothing the rest of their lives. Allowing him to go to the refugee camp really bothered me.

... but this is exactly the type of folks that we would be grateful to have in Iraq. He can do more for us and Iraq there.I agree, and I'll bet this man does, too.

This guy should get a New York City ticker tape parade.
To: anncoulteriscool
Hard to believe, a truly good and decent lawyer.

Yes, he does. It should be an inspiration for our dear President as well. I hope he does well, no matter where he ends up.

This man, who has never set foot in our fantastic and beautiful country, has more respect for freedom than these idiotic, spoiled-rotten protesters. I would trade him for all of Hollywood (and a large part of NYC)!
To: jonathonandjennifer
It does give us, hope doesn't it, in people of all faiths. I pray God blesses him and his family in every possible way.
