You know, there's a lot of talk about Nazis, but these guys seem worse. Can any historians out there remember a case where soldiers forced citizens of their own nation out in front of them to die?Sure. In Israel. Hamas (big supporters of Saddam), Islamic Jihad, Yasser Arafat's al Aqsa's Martyr's Brigade, Fatah, PFLP....the list is endless. The techniques of the fedayeen are taken from their playbook.

Remember this when Ol' B Bob reports a destroyed tank. I work with a guy who used to build these things and our M1A1's can't take out our M1A1's with a tank round. Yeah, they've been showing Iraqis dancing jubilantly on top of it. BBob has been claiming victory over the Americans. They even waved around an American uniform complete with name tag and rank.

Tony Snow keeps saying the BagCams are still at the Information Ministry. But I thought the cams all got moved to the Palestine Hotel. I understand the Palestine is located east of the Tigris River, right where the river takes a sharp bend around the presidential palace compound on the west bank of the Tigris. The cams are pointed toward the east-southeast, so they really don't show us the really interesting stuff. (probably at the behest of the Iraqi minders)

I keep thinking of these fellas as soldiers and they are to a certain extent agents of their gov't. To do this to your own people is insane and nearly unheard of in "warfare" as opposed to terrorism. My point I suppose is that why don't the RATS and other useful idiots and fellow travelers comprehend the horror of this approach. I cannot comprehend their incomprehension.
