John, if you keep "snipping" at Ricks, there won't be anything left.
(Not that there was anything there in the first place)

I cannot figure out why people whose reputations are worth something to them continue to go out on a limb with these predictions, when the reality is following so closely behind them. The pronouncements of these "experts" are like racing tip-sheets bought on the way in to the track. We're all going to know an hour from now that their guesses were no better than anyone else's guesses. |

Finally, the resilience of the Medina division will be a major indicator of whether the Third Infantry Division can do the job by itself or will have to dig in and wait for help sometime in April from the Fourth Infantry Division. The only thing "deader" than the Medina Division is the space between this moron Ricks ears.

I see we have another absolutely vrilliant strategist/tactician reporter. The simple fact is there are times when the ground pounders need a day or two to rest up before pressing on. This also gives the flyers a chance to get their licks in and then there is another burst of movement. Right now the big speculation is that the 4th Infantry division might not arrive in time to participate in the victory. I do not know but what we need to realize that anything less than 3 months is a short war. Less than three weeks is a wonderment.

The Pentagon would like to thank everyone who particpated in our Information Warfare Campaign. We don't have space here to thank everyone, but some who are worthy of mention are General Wesley (Weasely) Clark, Gen Barry McCaffrey, the NY Times, the Washington comPost, ABCCNNNBCCBS and the Democratic Party, Robert Fisk, and of course Peter Arnett!
Your willingness to sacrifice your credibility is greatly appreciated.

I hope we kept a list of ALL the naysayers. We need to NAME them.

This war is moving so fast, that these retired military men had better not make any rash statements.
By the time their articles get out, the action they said would fail or be harder is behind us (usually with incredible ease).
