Just overheard a CNN reporter (Nic Robertson?)reporting that folks inside Baghdad tell him that Iraqi government officials are driving around near the airport, using loudspeakers to urge civlians to leave their houses and go toward the airport to fight the infidels. According to Robertson's sources, people are acutually heading out there...

Maybe they all just want to be on the first flights out of Rummy International!

I pity those people who are foolish enough to try and engage US forces with nothing but their bare hands and a few small arms. One wonders if they're being forced to do so at gunpoint.

Reminds me of those pictures of Hitler meeting the 10 and 11 year old's conscrpted into the army for the Battle of Berlin.
Hopefully this is an indication that htey are completely spent, but I fear tha is not the case - These people could be the victims of WMD.

I hate Nick Robertson. Reporting from Jordan and sounding like he is reporting live from Baghdad.

I pity those people who are foolish enough to try and engage US forces I doubt many will try it...could be more fog-of-war from CNN which hopes for a catastrophe

Uh oh, here comes the gas, and blame America. Those evil U.S. forces killed all those civilians who were only trying to protect their city. I'd bet on it.

Could be our special ops guys trying to get innocent civilians to safety at the airport before we go in ...
To: BaghdadBarney
Maybe they'll move toward the airport and surrender. Or maybe it's a trick to get people into the streets, and then they'll kill them accusing us of the atrocities.

Heard on loud speakers.
"Fight the infidels, uhh, that are no where near the city of Baghdad. Yea that's it. Their no where near the city, but please go fight them before they can retreat. Oh! Why did I sigh up for this job."

After you, my dear Alphonse.
No, after you, my dear Gaston.

However, the Iraqi Information Minister stated, "The U.S. forces are no closer than 1000 miles from Baghdad, so how can they be at the airport?" As he started to speak his next statement, the "press" gathered for this latest press conference all shouted "Lies and Fabrications".
