FNC

Fox news video shows her stretcher being escorted onto the ambulance by at least 15 soldiers...kudos for taking care of their own, as always.

I wonder how long it will take some nitwit to go of on a "Why the hell do they put girls on the front line" rant...

There was a HUGE thread on whether women should serve on the front line... do a search for it. Things got pretty heavy!

As much as I am estatic about the rescue of Jessica Lynch and such, watching CNN and Wolf Blitzer play up her arrival in Germany made me want to puke. No offense meant to Jessica or the brave rescuers, but somehow CNN can take a good thing and turn it to crap.

Linux too?

Fox also reported that Lynch was the only patient on the C-17 Globemaster. That says something about the number of wounded we're incurring and how we take care of our own.

Not just CNN....it was on every Cable news show.
That was one big plane she arrived on, wonder why she was the only one on it.

Any soldier rescued is good. Also the war seems to be going well.

But I feel sad for the future POWs, MIA, KIAs that will get ZERO coverage as casualties mount.

Finally we get to see her picture. Every time they show that pic on Fox their stupid logo/scroll/flag/ticker/your ad here/stripes/fluff covers up the lower half almost to her nose.

Glad to see her getting one step closer to home. It sounds like this little gal has lots of spunk. She's going to need it in the coming months. Its always been amazing to me the amount of crap we can endure when we have to, yet a papercut is enough to send me to the couch some days.

Sure! It can't sit on the ground waiting to fill up forever. It needs to fly back for more gear. How many do you think are flying back empty?

Most cargo jets come back empty or full of stacks of empty palets.

I do believe the Special Ops thought they were going to bring back more troops.

There's nothing but Jessica to send back from the Iraqi theater? Nothing else?

What heavy cargo are we transporting from Germany to Iraq?
