Thousand Oaks, California had this issue come up. Some lady there had done the same thing. The city took every ribbon down. "PECKERHEADS!"

Local Palo Alto video producer...

Seth Yatovitz, who works for Peninsula TV in San Carlos, said he has used marijuana under a doctor’s recommendation to treat epilepsy since Prop 215 passed. "It has changed my life. I went from disability to working." He said.

Yatovitz said he is advocating photo identification cards that would alert law enforcement officers to legitimate users of medical marijuana."

do web search ( Google, Yahoo) for this guy. He's been a loon for a LONG time. Seems he's always at council meetings comp;laining about one thing or another, mostly leftist/sicialist/enviro stuff.

I'd post a couple of excerpts but Seth ain't worth it.

Take Down the ribbons, then paint everything you can with yellow stripes--just like the ribbons. Screw 'em. It is a lot harder to remove the paint job.

You can't get a yellow piece of ribbon in my town--sold out.

If his demand is not heeded, according to the report, Yatovitz will begin a boycott of Burlingame businesses and possibly file a lawsuit.

A reminder to any Freeper that lives anywhere near Burlingame: If the city of Burlingame has to spend one thin dime on legal expenses as a result of any lawsuit filed by this jackass, you have the right as a taxpayer to turn around and sue HIM to collect the fees incurred by a frivolous lawsuit.

Maybe Nazies would find yellow rubbans offensive too. How about a swastika, would that make them happier?

Keep the ribbons, get rid of Seth Yatovitz. Problem solved.

These traitorous fools are pushing people too far. The backlash is going to start getting very ugly, very soon. I hate to say it, but it's true.

Sounds like this offensive half man is confusing the ribbons with his own favorite song, "Yellow Stain Blues".

Seth is correct.

If only international superpowers such as Guinea, Cameroon, Syria, Angola, Pakistan, Chile, and Mexico had legitimized this war and given the United States, Britain and Australia permission to defend themselves against state-sponsored terrorism, this would be a legal war, instead on an illegal one.

Seth is a man of great principle.

Around her neck, she wore a yellow ribbon.

She wore it in the summer and the merry month of May.

When I asked her why she wore the ribbon.

She said it's for my love in the US Cavalry.
