The person who received the note from the Iraqi civilian was MSNBC's Kerry Sanders (which is why Fox won't name him). He passed it along to our military.

I heard another story about that. What makes you so sure that Fox is not reporting it just because it is from an MSNBC source?

If it was a Fox reporter, they'd name the reporter. In fact, they'd be yelling it from the roof. It's a convention that the news media use: if it's their reporter, they name the reporter. if it's from another source, they don't name the source especially if the source is a competitor.

And I saw Kerry Sanders report that he had received the note post-rescue.

Kerry said he received a message from a civilian...but the military already knew where Jessica was.

Kerry Sanders gave the impression that he was the first to receive information about her and passed it on. However, in a subsequent statement, he backed off and I gather he was tipped off AFTER THE FACT.
