Fixed your typo...
Don't confuse high SAT's scores with "intelligence". Just because someone can score well on a test doesn't mean they don't need help crossing the street. Some of the "smartest" people I know are so devoid of common sense that they are worthless dangerous to society.

Maybe what's left of the Iraqi leadership is running out of their own buildings to meet in. We may start hearing of other unusual bombing sites.

I don't care for that reporter too much. I've picked up on a couple of her reports that tend to bring in sympathy towards the Iraqis and the civilians. Just heard something in baghdad just now on the CBScam.

"I don't think I will ever understand the Russians. Interesting links, mostly lies. Nothing has changed in Russia it appears."
I understand and agree.
It must be difficult for them, but that doesn't excuse what they've been doing...

Try Arnett for treason, senator says Tristate reacts to war
WASHINGTON - Correspondent Peter Arnett should be "tried as a traitor" for remarks he made in an interview with Iraqi state television, Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky., said Tuesday.
Arnett, a New Zealand native and naturalized U.S. citizen, said in the Sunday interview that Washington's "first war plan has just failed because of Iraqi resistance. ... Clearly, the American war planners misjudged the determination of the Iraqi forces."
NBC and its related network, for which the longtime war reporter had been covering the conflict from Baghdad, dismissed Arnett despite his apologies Monday. Later the same day, London's anti-war Daily Mirror hired him. In Arnett's first report for that paper, he retracted his apology.
"I think he should be brought back and tried as a traitor to the United States of America, for his aiding and abetting the Iraqi government during a war," Bunning said in a conference call with reporters. Later in a speech on the Senate floor, Bunning said: "Mr. Arnett can apologize all he likes for being a `useful idiot' for Saddam and his barbaric regime. But that's not enough for me, and it's certainly not enough for our soldiers and many Americans."
"I think Mr. Arnett should be met at the border and arrested should he come back to America," said Bunning.

Ah, fond memories of standing at attention at Parris Island in Beaufort, SC, with swarms of sand fleas dancing around my ears.

My daughter went from Southern California to the icy, windy winters of Wheaton College (31 miles SW of Chicago). It was quite an adjustment, but she made it through. RK, have you ever driven through Wheaton--especially the area near the college? Its streets and homes look like something out of a magazine.
z: St. Joseph's University sounds safer than Berkeley, but a word to the wise: be on guard where those poli-sci professors are concerned. There's a DeGenova or two lurking on every campus....

OT, but Mr. M and I were discussing Iraqis not eating cloven footed animals, but goats are cloven footed and they eat goats. Can someone enlighten us?

Tony Snow announcing that we bombed the Syrian trade center in Baghdad... i'm sure those responsible will be severely reprimanded 1, and our government will
be issuing an apology soon. 2
after all, we apologized directly following the bombing of the
french embassy in libya, and the chicom embassy in bosnia, didn't we?
1. with a raise and promotion
2. you won't survive our next apology.

Hmm m not sure exactly, but I know they eat lamb aswell, which has the same feet as a goat Im sure.
My father is jewish, and though he rarely observes the kosher laws, I have picked up info on some, I think that there's a difference in the shape of the foot of goats and pigs though that does affect it
