OT, but Mr. M and I were discussing Iraqis not eating cloven footed animals, but goats are cloven footed and they eat goats. Can someone enlighten us?

Hmm m not sure exactly, but I know they eat lamb aswell, which has the same feet as a goat Im sure.

My father is jewish, and though he rarely observes the kosher laws, I have picked up info on some, I think that there's a difference in the shape of the foot of goats and pigs though that does affect it

Think they need to have tusks as well to be forbidden. Not sure.
