There will be another SUPPORT OUR TROOPS RALLY on the FOUR CORNERS at the intersection of Rte 41 Bypass & Venice Ave. this Sunday April 6 at 1 PM.

I have contacted Talk Radio host Phil of the Diner Show on WIBQ 1220AM daily from 6-8 AM and asked him to announce our Rally.

In addition, I am giving a Community Notice & Press Release to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune (Venice edition). And I will call other media while we are LIVE and ask for coverage.

Please bring signs, flags & try to wear yellow ribbons. Much better weather is predicted for this Sunday....we'll need hats, sunscreen & water this time!

I will make four, and mount them on stakes so we can just plant them in the ground at all four corners of the intersection, thereby freeing up people's hands to wave flags.

Meanwhile, the Venice Gondolier has a story about some athiest a$$hole who wants the "God Bless America" and "Pray For Our Troops" signs in front of the church on Miami Ave. taken down because they're on "public property". @#%#@$*! Another scumbag who needs a greeting from the land of beatings.

I was the first caller to Art Cronk's Radio Show WBIQ 1530AM at 2pm today. He remembered me from 10 days ago when I was promoting the Sarsota Rally.

When I told him about our (every) Sunday Support Our Troops Venice Rally at the intersection of Bypass 41 & Venice Ave at 1 PM....He joked: Is that the 'bypass' named after Larry King.....LOL.

Then Art asked if we would be blocking traffic....I replied NO we stay on the sidewalk unlike the 'peace rioters' (a term Scott of FRN had used yesterday on Fox & Friends yesterday). Art thought that good description of their activities.

Then I promoted the Sunday 2 PM Rally at the Charlotte County Courthouse in Punta Gorda sponsored by the Vietnam Brotherhood.

I said I'd like half his listeners to go to Punta Gorda & the other half to come to Venice!

Also I suggested that everyone wear yellow ribbons and tie them to trees & mailboxes as a visual sign that they support our troops.

The caller after me said that he would try to go to a Rally this weekend. Then Art urged all his listeners to demonstrate their support for our troops by going to Rallies.

As you can guess....I'm now one of his most loyal listeners!

I had heard the night before that FR would be on talking about all the Pro-Troops Rallies about 8AM. Scott actually was on the last 5 minutes just before 9AM.

His use of the term 'peace riots' was brilliant! He came across very composed & professional!
