FREE REPUBLIC NETWORK
The Free Republic Network is pleased to announce that its chairman, Scott Swett, is scheduled to appear on the Fox News Network's Morning show - Fox and Friends at approximately 8:00 EST, Wednesday, April 2, 2003 to discuss the Rally for America and the Network's support of our troops fighting terrorism throughout the world and in support of our troops in the war in Iraq.
Scott will be representing Freepers far and wide in this rare network media opportunity to talk about our support of the US Military, President Bush and our desire to see a free Iraqi people.
In a six to eight minute segment Scott will be highlighting the recent nationwide rallies. Over the course of the month of March in over 100 cities over 150,000 people attended rallies in support of our troops.
Recent news polls show over 72% of the American people support President Bush and our troops. According to Fox News consultant Dick Morris, over 50% of the American people support the war even if it takes over a year. "Most Americans understand that removing Saddam Hussein's regime from power is an integral part of the War on Terror, and we want to honor those who are accomplishing this tough and dangerous job," said Swett in a pre-broadcast interview. "As for those who claim war never solves anything, let them take the matter up with the Taliban."
Join us and please share your support with Scott as he heads into downtown Washington D.C. to talk with Fox and Friends about Freepers!

Is someone is taping this interview to take with on the cruise? We'll have our own meeting room aboard. What great tapes we'll be able to view, like some of our terrific rallies, and hopefully the one of Bob J's national TV interview.
FRN is on the march, hooray!

My office is a house. We have a fully equipped kitchen. Since I own the joint, I can make coffee cake.

How do you cook coffee cake at work? You'd be amazed at what you can do with a canteen cup and a can of Sterno. (Maybe not at work, but you get the idea).
Unfortunately, coffee cake and other sugared goods are a thing of the past for me these days - I've cut out almost all refined sugar from my diet. I do insist on a heaping tablespoon of Splenda in my first cup of coffee though.

Did I miss Scott from FRN?
I've been watching since a little before 8AM.
Has his interview been postponed due to breaking news on POW rescue & push on Baghdad?

No word as yet! It's possible he's been pushed back, but let's hope he didn't get cut!
The POW story had broken last night before his last contact with FOX and they still planned to have him on!
Fingers crossed!

G'morning, Julie. Nope, you haven't missed Interesting Times. I imagine the war news has first priority in Fox's morning lineup. On my second cup right now (and my second slice of coffee cake, oh, my).

Hey, that's not bad. I either lug a Coleman oven bungeed to my pack or use thick aluminum foil to fashion a field-expedient oven. Hmmm ...

I keep telling people that every ounce of this gut was professionally acquired! None of it is there by accident!
