Dying for what you believe in is noble IF what you believe in is true. Sincerity is itself NOT a virtue, in fact, can be a part of a great evil deception.
I have no doubt that Muslims believe in the Koran and are sincere about their faith - especially those fundamentalists willing to die for a god who does not exist.
Hence it is not belief in God that is the problem for this world. It is belief in a god who is not God.
Fundamentalism in itself is not evil or good it all depends upon what the fundamentals are that you believe in: are they true?
Human shields who sincerely give up their lives for their beliefs and suicide believers in the idol allah are obviously the most dangerous people in the world today.
Perhaps the time has come to recognize that to defeat these sincere suicidial believers means to attack their false beliefs without hesitation and realize this is a 'religious war' after all.
The problem we have in America is that secularists want to blame the hatred of Muslims for America on everything except the foolishness contained in the Koran written by Mohammed, a militant soldier who created the perfect god for those who wish to have brave soldiers.

"ANY Western 'human shield' in totalitarian/terrorist Iraq at this point must begin to feel very vulnerable, if in fact they have come to their senses. One can only suspect if they got away from their government handlers long enough, they picked up the same hushed whispers of terror by the average Iraqi that pastor Ken Joseph picked up and which caused him to get out while he could. For it is still my prediction before this thing is over, they will either execute the human shields and say the Americans did it (with graphic footage of the bodies) or they will place them at military targets where they will be blown to bits. Same goes for their treatment of leftist affiliated journalists, so called 'indies' like May Ying Welch, whose lives are at risk by the Iraqi secret police/Republican guards/Hussein Fedayhin." Couldn't agree more, my FRiend...these Leftists are living in a fantasy world if they believe the Baathist Regime will not kill whoever they want to salvage their unsalvageable ReignOfTerror...MUD

Interesting. I don't think I'd want my kids in one of Sis Levin's "safe schools" though. She'd be trying to negotiate with the school shooters while they shot up half the school.

American aircraft had "attacked" two busses between Baghdad and Amman .. and that, amongst the 40 on board were Human Shields. Suicide bombers, most likely.

I'm hoping at least some of these human shields survive till the end of the war so they can tell all their comrades back home what foolish idiots they are for believing their propaganda.

My gut reaction would be the Iraqis blew up the busses, and then blamed the Coalition .. but we will have to wait and see.I don't care if we did blow them up.
Maybe it will send a message to the ones who remain, and they'll begin to understand that their nationality doesn't guarantee their survival. They were stupid to think it did in the first place.

I don't care if we did blow them up. Neither do I:

War in Iraq - Week One
US Marines moved into the southern Iraqi town of Shatrah today to recover the body of a dead comrade which had been hanged in the town square, officers said.
Hundreds of troops were dispatched on the operation after intelligence reports indicated the body of a dead American, who was killed in a firefight last week, had been paraded through the streets and hanged in public.
"We would like to retrieve the body of the marine but it is not our sole purpose," said Lieutenant-Colonel Pete Owen, of the First Marine Expeditionary Force.
Military sources said another part of the operation was to arm local militias to fight against members of the ruling Baath party loyal to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
Shatrah is some 40 km north of Nasiriyah, where Iraqi forces have been harassing US supply lines and putting up tough resistance for more than a week.

I blame the Bush administration for not organizing a mass get-out-the-human-shield drive in key communities in America (such as Berkeley) and among key population groups (such as college professors). If the government had been more proactive on this issue, we could have fielded hundreds of thousands of leftist-human-shields. >>>>
Great idea! Damn, should of thought of it sooner...

Sounds like a couple bus loads of jihidast streaming to Iraq in support of Saddam, suitable targets.Similar to a busload of Syrian "tourists" that were vaporized in the first days of the war. Funny how that happens.

he merely said that an Am,erican aircraft had "attacked" two busses between Baghdad and Amman .. and that, amongst the 40 on board were Human Shiwelds. How very interesting!! The only folks I've heard of leaving Jordan and trying to get to Baghdad were Iraqi men who claimed they wanted to come fight for Sadaam, and other Middle Eastern men who wanted to act as suicide bombers for Sadaam. I wondered what was happening with them because I'd seen pictures of them getting on the buses in Amman. If we took those buses out, GOOD FOR US!!!

Oh well. We'll just have to wait for the next war.
We should start designing the posters now. A naked hippie girl, standing in front of Kim Il Jong, pointing her finger at all leftists everywhere, "I want you".
