Nothing up on any wires or webistes I could see, but it was reported by tow different network imbedded reporters so there may be something to it.

Its been reported that 4th infantry will be in place by April 1, so I don't know what the stop would be for other than more resupplies.

Was this from a reporter or one of the retired military talking heads?

I can't believe how this Reuters BS story has so many so called conservatives spoiling their depends.

We flew over 800 combat sorties today. Munitions, fuel and other war toys blew up and burned all day in Baghdad.

If one wants to see supply problems, just look at the Iraqis. They desparately need supplies from Syria. Their soldiers probably dream about having 1 MRE per day.

It just dawned on me, pysops for the other side. They're probably already hungry and low on supplies, especially after hitting their fuel supply yesterday. We've taken out those columns that tried to manuever during the sandstorm. If any supply lines have been attacked and hampered, it hasn't been ours.

Probably, who ever is in control of Iraq, called up his Opecker Prince Buddy who controls Reuters. Then he said, Please start a rumor that the Americans are starving, have no water, fuel, shells and toilet paper. We are the ones having those supply problems, but I want our Republican Guard dummies to think the Americans are having problems.

During world war II, one major and widely believed rumor was that every GI was going to get a free car from Henry Ford after the war was over.

"Seriously... Why not simply spread rumors that the U.S and coalition forces have all surrendered. We'd get a GREAT panic attack from that rumor on FR."

Yep. We can have General Franks give a briefing saying that after watching CNN and the BBC and reading the New York Times he realized all was lost after not being able to take Baghdad in a week. Therefore all of our troops have surrendered and the United States is the new 19th province of Iraq.

"Who's Stan Downs?"

I asked my military friends and they said they never heard of him. They do have a buddy called Inta Debreach, however.

Really? I heard this morning that NBC fired some guy named 'Ima Trator'. Sounded kinda weird to me, though---that sounds more like a girl's name...

You are dead wrong.

They will use the time to place a circle of seige around Baghdad...all the while continuing to bomb the hell out of specified targets.

Don't forget the threat to use WMD on the Coalition Forces once they crossed a "red line". We might as well use the time to strengthen the noose around Baghdad.

I am currently assigned to a post in Texas. Went to Cromers while home on leave, they are now by Williams-Brice Stadium. Had a Sandy's hotdog while I was home. Love them Slaw Dogs!

Shusssshh! Don't give the dems any ideas. They're hunting for votes right now and this would be a winner to get the military on board! LOL

No kidding, I recently had this very same cheese on a homemade pizza according to our dinner host. The pizza ws great, the Moosehead beer to wash it down was even better.
