[history]
Welcome to the Troop Prayer Thread! We gather here together in the belief that "whereever two or more are gathered in my name, there am I," and that by the grace of God, group prayer effort can be a great force for good in the world.
We are listing here members of the active armed services known to us for whom we want to pray. We are also seeking to keep track of the Captured/MIAs here for prayer purposes.
If you would like to submit someone for our list, you are welcome to do so at any time. Post their name or pseudonym here on the thread or freepmail amom or myself. If we have made any errors, please let us know so that we may correct the list. We will be making periodic updates. If you want to be added or removed from the ping list please let amom or me know by freepmail.
We invite everyone, active Freepers and Lurkers alike to join our circle in prayer for these fine men and women who have volunteered to place their lives on the line for the defense of our nation and for the liberation of the oppressed peoples of other nations. To them we send our greatest respect and gratitude. We send them our prayers and good thoughts. We ask for God's blessing upon them and their families.
For those of us who have somewhat limited computer capacity, we request that graphics be limited to pictures of loved ones for whom we are offering prayers, special visuals that seem particularly appropriate, and as much as possible, non-moving graphics. Thank you.
The brave men and women who have been captured or are missing.

You said, "I LOVE SEEING MIRACLES"
Be sure to check out the Prayer Warrior Field trip above!!
We are happy to add CW2 Dan Alexander stationed in Kuwait and PFC.Kenneth Lewis Marshall USMC who is recently graduated from Marine boot camp and will be spending his 20th birthday in Iraq.
Our Father In Heaven,
We ask that you will place your loving attention and protective hand on the lives of these two young men, Dan and Kenneth as they serve in our nation's military overseas.
Grant these warriors the fruits of prayers from our hearts and the hearts of all in this nation who hold vigil for our troops. Grant them vision, quick reflexes, alertness and excellent communications in battle. Bind any and all possibility of accident or malfunction of equipment. Let all vehicles, conveyances, equipment, rifles, and paraphernalia be in 100% working order. Protect the hearts and minds of these young men as they enter dangerous situations. Help them be able to read instantaneously the people they will be dealing with. Help them to know immediately friend from foe. Grant them strength, endurance, and courage.
Bless their families and friends while they are separated. Let these loved ones be surrounded with your comfort and sure knowledge that these young men are safe in your hands and care.
This which we call forth for Dan and Kenneth, we call forth for all who are serving in our military and that of our coalition forces. Multiply our prayers and grant these brave young men and women in uniform miracles and a true and lasting sense of peace in mind and heart. Take command of the conflict in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the entire Middle East. Overshadow all of our troops whereever they may be billeted, whether overseas, stateside, or on the way home. Let only your will be done.
Amen
