FDA OKs Lotion to Fight Chemical Attack

WASHINGTON -- The government has approved a special skin lotion for U.S. soldiers to apply immediately after a chemical attack to neutralize otherwise potentially deadly chemical weapons.

The lotion is called RSDL, for "reactive skin decontamination lotion." It is made by a Canadian company, O'Dell Engineering Ltd., which says the lotion has been used for years by the Canadian military.

Very interesting article, suggest reading it.

While obviously it's no substitute for a chemical suit, but if small areas of skin are exposed, sounds like it's effective.

I wonder, if they could make some version, where people could basically used it on their skin before any attack, and it would stay there, protecting them, for say 24 hrs.
