chemicalsThey would have the gas alarm on by now. This is a city on edge, and you can be sure they already have checked for gas.

Wolf says it sounded like a thud. Was it a dull thud, or a dull Wolf?
To: McGruff
MSNBC crew have their gas masks on. Probably precautionary (their chemical paper at their Kuwait studios has not, repeat NOT, indicated chemicals).

Interesting split screen on CNN a few minutes ago:
Explosion in Kuwait City.
AAA over Baghdad.
To: McGruff
CNN - "May have been a missile".
To: McGruff
Wolfie says he's ok.If Wolf Blitzer was a real reporter, he would have jumped into a car and raced to the scene. Newsmen used to do that sort of thing.
Now they stand on the roof and talk to retired generals.

A chemical attack on Kuwait is the best way to ensure that Baghdad is uninhabitable for a couple of hundred centuries....
